  1. I was originally wanting a VF series but i'll see how the TD04 is first. Bare in mind but, VF turbos are quite expensive and some are hard to get hold off because certain VFs were originally on JDM S203 Imprezas and what not.
  2. I think it looks tidy man, thank god youre not just doing what everyone else has and go for a varis front !! Go full JAM kit
  3. Fuckin lols at the bay pic hahahaha.
  4. Wont be any sure way of knowing. I was wanting a S as a daily, have a look on donedeal.ire there are loads in ireland. Even a few Gi s aswell. Any guesses on Glanza and GT numbers in the UK ? I reckon less than 500.
  5. I know theres defo a white one with a TOMs front on here, called decky ? Think this might be a different one though ?? Unsure.
  6. Thats quite tidy, the safari park is about 10mins away from me aswell, never seen that one about before.
  7. I just done mine quickly and tbh its not the best way but, i spliced the live wire that goes to the front fog light switch, and ran the wire down to the OSR cluster, put a capless red LED bulb in the bulbholder, powered it with that wire and earthed it on the light securing bolt. Hope that makes sense lol. Only downside is that once the fog light switch is pressed then all the fogs are on but it doesn't bother me. And use a good red LED, i bought one for a quid and its not that bright. Rear fog is supposed to be brighter than brakes for MOT and obv for when its foggy.
  8. I dont actually know off hand, but i'll have my brakes stripped down in the next few days so i'll try and find the correct one
  9. As above, ive done exactly that. Got the reverse on the NS and a rear fog integrated into the OS cluster. Still have the top and bottom sides / brakes. The above list youve got should keep you busy for a while
  10. Just something like this is Amjad. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UNIVERSAL-NEW-BRAKE-CALIPER-PISTON-REWIND-WIND-BACK-TOOL-KIT-22-34-PIECES-SET-/360643337387?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item53f8049cab
  11. Your EML light should come on when the ignition is switched on and go off after the engine is switched on, unless theres a fault. No light at all suggests the bulb is blown or been taken out. Also, get the coolant sniff tested for exhaust gas, sounds like your headgasket is about to / aready has gone pop. A lot of these wee cars have been abused sadly.
  12. I remember seeing pics and an old for sales ad of this on TGTT. Looks tidy and a good base to build with.
  13. Love the early ones. Import service sounds awesome
  14. When i was building my car up i changed the looms, on my current one there is no spare plugs around that area, apart from one which i think is for the cat temp sensor which is long gone. I'll switch a few about and see whats what. I had the oil pressure switch plug plugged into that black one, oops, which constantly had the oil light on. I still have my old looms, so im gonna see if i can find this wire on that. I set it with the idle screw on the throttle body. My idle control valve was spotless so was my throttle body, i also checked my throttle position sensor, but that was fine. As i
  15. From the outside there is no real way to tell. Get a loan of a bore scope ( somehow ) and have a look down the spark plug holes at the pistons. Possibly might be able to see the rods by looking up the oil return ?? Or through the sump plug.
  16. Does you thermo housing plugs look similar to this ?
  17. The 2nd one isnt the in car temp gauge, i dont have a plug for that sensor either and my temp gauge works. Im having similar issues to you mate, i think your idle and fan problems are unrelated. Try and get the idle to normal first. Check the throttle cable isnt to tight and opening the butterfly slightly, thats what my idle problem was.
  18. Is there washers on it ??
  19. The amount of stuff i took out and the weight of it was unreal. Stage 1 weight removal lol. Mind you add a fair bit of weight too, with FMIC, exhaust is heavier than stock, so are bigger turbo kits, braces etc. Dont want to end up with a fatty do you ?? Haha.

I dont know if im the only one thats realised but you seem to be posting up a lot of questions that have been covered 100s of times. There is a search bar at the top right of the screen. Also theres a very helpful technical section on here with years and years worth of info / posts / topics / how2s / questions etc. Have a read through them pal.
  21. Is that the one with the diagonal starlet decals up the sides ?
  22. Mine was never ment to be daily in the first place, i just wanted it as a project thing to slag about in on track or whatever. But i'll have no choice but to run it daily, or continue to fucking walk to work, until i get another daily.
  23. I will be driving mine daily for a few months at least, never had it on the road yet so i dont know what it'll be like... I went all out, no carpet, heaters, radio, rear interior, glovebox, sound proofing etc. Am gonna hate it lol.
