Yeah man back of the block between 1 & 2 iirc. Yeah wouldnt push any harder on a 4efe you find in a sportif or whatever. The earlier Gen1 JDM 4efe are stronger (thicker rods) but quite hard to find in the UK.

Im using a 4efe boosted just now. Its holding out fine at 0.6bar. All you really need to do is swap the sump and strap the lot to the N/a block. May aswell use a FTE rocker cover too. Just make sure the N/a block has a hole threaded for the knock sensor, some dont. Swap the thermo housing over aswell.

To fill the rear plate recess properly a 13x7 looks best. 12x6 is a USA size and its the smallest you can legally go. Suits the front well.

Gearbox, clutch kit, flywheel off Poke a hole in the seal Put a screw in the hole and use a driver to pry against it to pop it out (so ya dont damage seal contact surface) Clean up the area Lube the new seal Gently and evenly tap the new seal in (i use a 3/8" extension and a hammer) Use new flywheel bolts or loctite the old ones Rebuild in reverse order Sorted.

Selling a used forged engine for 2k is a bit much imo. Unless its a hell of a spec, low miles and you offer warranty.

Always best to replace it. Even then they still tend to weep oil. I put a thin layer of oil proof sealer round the seal aswell and its all good.
