Yes mate that will be the issue. Get the head skimmed, make sure its no warped or that, new headbolts, new head gasket and put a wee bit sealer on a corner. Sorted.

Thermostat housing with all sensors etc - sorted Throttle body with all sensors etc - sorted Including all hoses, clamps, nuts and bolts if you have them - sorted

Right i'm putting a 98 spec engine in my GT and know there are different sensors between the early and late engines, ie on the thermostat housing. So which thermostat housing do i need to match up to my GT loom ? One off an early engine i guess ?

Very doubtful this is actually real but you never know. His other item is a jam fcd at 35 quid which is cheap if it works. But why would you need a fcd if running a p&p.........

Bumping this up. I'm going to do this pretty soon whilst the engine is out of the GT. Any more info on this it appreciated. Can i use non ABS lines, t pieces and unions from a GT to replace the ones on the bulkhead ? Failing that i will just measure the old ones and match to braided lines, source t pieces and unions.
