I'm having the same problem after changing box a few months back. Side to side is stiff, esp after a few days of car not moving, and it's hard to get reverse. Was wondering what it might be. I'll check it out later. And what's the chocolate block, Do you mean the sugar cube under the linkage arm? Anyone got a link for the poly ones?? Al.

What does the control box look like on these, is it the black box? Last time I tried to wire mine in, I fried the circuit board behind the clocks... Al.

That's some build thread mate. I've spent most of the weekend going through it every time I've logged on. Your attention to detail is to be commended. Nice to see someone putting so much into it. Can't really say what my favorite parts are, because there's so many. Loving all the optional extras though. I'm defo following this one, to see what you've got planned next.
