Right lads, spoke to sacha he can do them for £495-inc around £60 Shipping and 4% PayPal. He makes them out of highest quality alloy better than ARC. Which will support upto around 300bhp which is far more than the ct9 can throw at it plus could support other larger frame turbos. It will also include a uprated alloy up pipe from the turbo too the tmic. All this will be oem style bolt on affair. If 3-4 people would be interested he might be able to knock down the price a little

-
might give good old sacha a buzz see what he can do
-
Looks decent, and not a bad price at all.
-
Yeah this, I used to use tinypic.com which was good
-
Just to bring this up again, just inquired with Dean @rwdevelopments and he said looking at about £550 for tmic that's abit chunkier than arc. Seems a mad price tbh. I will be looking for a arc item soon if anyone knows of one

So guys what's the conclusion of all this?? Anything going to get done?

Finally the time has come to get back into a glanza again. looking for a clean 96/98 glanza with uncut bumpers needs to be stock ish.so if you or know anyone that has one for sale elsewhere let me know. Going to view 3 tomorrow up north.

Hint hints. SHUT IT DOWN

Like Tim said, I don't think there alot you can do to solve the problem. Maybe some way you can link the 2 so people fb build threads, questions and general discussion along with parts for sale all interact with the forum. I'm not sure if thats possible. Myself I don't have Facebook so I do miss out on whatever goes on I've always fancied like a glanza/gt registary so you can track who's owned it and whats been done to it. I'm sure some the classic car groups do that

Don't understand why people don't just change it it's relatively inexpensive and not as hard as it looks to replace. Obviously it once the head is off and the damage is assessed is either to continue or not if it's financially feasible. But to prevent against it again at higher power levels it needs a very clean deck surface before installing a multi layer steel head gasket, combined with arp head bolts

Just take it to a reputable tuner and ask a health check. explain what you want, Im sure they should be fine with it
-
Prices are crazy high dude.
-
Still here? Take £50?
-
I run stock clutch on 232bhp 230lb-ft was fine for ages with plenty of abuse
-
Maybe ask Dean@rwdevelopmentsMight be able to knock you one up for a little bit more than you pay for a second hand one
-
If you lower your target of 250bhp then you can save yourself a fair bit of money around 230bhp is perfect on the td04 and you will be maxing out your injectors around there so that's another expense to bare in mind plus engines get a bit fragile around 230-240
