  1. Any one ever put hood lifts on their ep... im almost certain we do not have any where to bolt the struts to but im asking never the same

Man its so easy to make Honnestly All you need is Key Screwdriver Heat aka stove or torch A pliers Step one find nice screw driver this is the hard part Step two heat up tip Three when it hott enough you will know when use pliers to pull the metal bit out Step four cut the key so that it isn't as bulky at the handle Step 5 heat key up step 6 stick hot key into sscrewdriver handle DONE
  3. packed it in at about 5:05 am as i could keep me eyes open .... no one ever told me getting the right sized shims to make the correct clearence was such a pain in the arse.... holly shitee... any who with that dont i am guestimating a saturday morning first start up if all ecu wiring is as straigh forward as we hope aka no suprises
  4. the joys of finishing working on your car when the sun has already come up is the mail man brings you goodies that makes loosing all that sleep ok courtesy of the mailman and we decided we would give the block a lick of paint and dont mind the moron in the back or the shower cap on the head ... the tapet cover is powder coating and its just to make sure that nothing gets inside the engine

  7. im no mechanic mate i was just there and witnessed the craziness as it was taking place... just saying what the mad mechanic was was up to... be it right or wrong thats what he was doing....
  8. we have a disk that bolts on to the end of the cams it has the degrees marked out on it and is attatched to something like the arm on the gauge that allows you to turn the cam half a degree at a time then you pretty much map out when the cams start to achieve lift on the dial and when it reach its maximum height that way u get the duration
  9. this is how we checked mine and they were slightly different but nothing to really talk about we also ploted a graph of the degrees do get the duration as well

  15. just checked the thread lol hes claiming to be the fastest fwd starlet in the caribbean lol but i know islanders and they bump there gums with nothing to show for it all the time.... tthat compounded with the wheelie bars makes me question everything that im seeing
  16. so i was looking up other starlet builds in the caribbean today and came across this pile of bullshit that i had to bring up now tell me if im mistaken but from the look of things this man has wheely bars on a FRONT WHEEL DRIVE DRAG CAR . please please tell me if im daft or that im correct in saying that this makes NO SENSE FUCKIN JAMAICANS AGAIN to even make sure i wasnt going mad i checked to find an engine pay pic to be 150% sure it was fwd

  20. when i paint my car im gona do that as well as the surrounds on the back of the gt windows.... the lick of paint looks sooo good did you give it a slight sand down before?
  21. its a thermostat with a built in check valve so that when the car is of the oil does not run back down into the sumo it can only flow one way and it and it only opens up to allow oil into the cooler when it reaches a specific temperature and no the rocker cover goes to the oil catch can located in the top right with a breather on top of it the oil cooler follows the set up in the second image in the photo bellow blue arrows is cold route and orange is when hot
  22. got the bearings and stuff and the entire bottom end has been assembled now to get the cams in the head put the head on and then slot the engine in... then booooooostttt....EMERALD TUNED FULLY FORGED 5EFTE BALL BEARING TD04 IS ALMOST DONE WOOOOOOOOOOOO
