Go in and tell them you are a mechanic and want a trade card thats how i got mine mate

be sure to let it breathe now and then sometimes these covers can trap water and cause damage to the car not mechanically but like exterior damage stuff rusting etc

make sure your pvc/breather isnt blocked and maybe invest in a new oil cap threads could be worn or something mate

could be a sticky/faulty thermostat mate take it out and see if it moves freely without sticking shouldnt be too hard to move while its out may aswell change it i suppose at least i eliminates one problem if it doesnt actually fix it

i had a sort of vibration coming from mine if your exhaust has plaque on it and has even a tiny gap between it youll hear it took us ages to find it up on ramps and everything.

i had one of these as a daily runner when i used to drive to work had <80k on the clock got it for 600 quid, such a good car and sold it to a mates gf so its still about and going strong, i once got 110 miles to a tenner and i remember it was 80 quid to fill it around 6 months ago nice big tank so could last a long while, actually miss the wee thing, but great car your selling ali if i was going for another daily id have it !

russ up there is meant to be really good never used him myself but handy that he isnt too far away save me going to england all the time

im having mine done over winter with my bay being resprayed and everything painted, im useless at wireing so ill have a few pics up on this soon enough but it will be a long process as other things to buy atm good luck with it and keep us up to date on pics
