Sorry for the bad pics, took these fast with a phone and it's sooo dark in here
Tegiwa BMCS fitted
Blue little pills Right rear wheel is a bit twisted, so they put a lot of weights on, 100grams or something lol. Atleast the car's not shaking.
first I drilled a bigger hole for the long stopper bolt and changed it to a shorter one. Then I cut ~0.5cm away from the hex extension piece (or what it is called?) and installed the whole thing. The engine mount bolt should be coming out only 0.5cm or so to get this thing fit nicely.
If the engine mount bolt is coming out more than ~0.5cm, then you have to cut more from the extension piece if possible or change a shorter engine mount bolt too.
Spec list updated. Also got Tegiwa BMCS installed a few weeks ago and it does fit! I'm going to pick up my refurbed BBS RZ's tommorrow morning, so some pics will follow soon ;-)
Yes StuDoc, the front end. I have to rent a place to get the car up, so I just wanted to know what to expect to get the job done as fast as possible with the minimum costs. :-)
I have to change my left handbrake cable after failing mot. Cable is totally stuck and I can't even get it connected with the caliber. i have released the caliber end already and I'm currently waiting the part to arrive, but if someone have pics or how-to guide for the lever end where the cables connect, please put it here! :-)
The most people in my country drink coffee, but there are also so many different tea flavors available, so what kind of tea you drink? Brand and flavor?
http://www.toyotagtt...es..help-please http://www.toyotagtt...-pressure-clock As mentioned in those threads, oil temp won't work with t-piece :-( edit: http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?51371-Oil-Temp-and-Pressure-Sender-Fitment
I found this pic from TGTT, might be worth the job You need to remove bolt from the oil filter housing and find a bolt that has a threaded hole in it, but I don't have an idea what the outer thread should be :-/
Loctite 565 or teflon tape will do. Sender unit needs to earth through the body, so Loctite would be better. If you have electrical temp sensor, then there will be fitting issues with t-piece, because they are quite long :-/
There shouldn't be any problems with the correct values, because oil will transfer heat and pressure to the sensors even the oil is not actually running pass the sensors. Just remember to use some sealant for threads and don't overtighten :-)
It's also good to remember that there is a big difference with DOT 5 and DOT5.1! DOT5 is silicone based and if you are going to change from/to DOT 5 you should flush the whole system carefully, because silicone won't mix with DOT3, 4 and 5.1 fluids! ;-) Good info about brake fluids here.
With both of those t-pieces you can use a standard pressure switch + one extra 1/8npt sensor. If you have aftermarket pressure and temp sensors with 1/8npt thread, you will need to add another t-piece for these sensors. In this case you will need both of these or one from steve-gers link + this Intall like this: This pic is a bit bad, but first adapter fits to block. Second adapter fits to side port of the first adapter. Standard pressure switch / bolt fits to end of the first adapter. Aftermarket sensors fit side and end ports of the second adapter. Got it?
This was recommended on TGTT http://www.speedflowshop.co.uk/18bspt-taper-adaptor-5000-tp8-1240-p.asp Maybe some ebay items are good enough too, if you just don't choose the cheapest one. :-)
I'm quite sure the port on a block is 1/8 BSPT. Most of the aftermarket sensors are 1/8 npt, so you have to find a adaptor. Avoid cheap ones, because there is a high risk to mess up the threads. Don't overtighten!
You guys are lucky with your mot rules over there, if compared to our rules. Basicly all mods are illegal, if you have a turbo car in here. But here's some info how it's done in Japan
