  2. And also more importantly u MUST makesure clutch is skimmed and in good health as no matter how good your clutch is it wont grip the flywheel if flywheels not good Dont worry bout exedy clutches etc, just buy a 6 puck stage 4 mate
  3. Hmm, yeah not likey to be an immobilser, only thing I can think is maybe a transponder in the key, if nit that then maybe an old alarm?
  4. Just go straight with a 6 puck stage 4 paddle clutch. its over kill but will be more than man enough for anything you throw at it and will allow for future mods and upgrades. Buy once buy right, dont do what I did and buy twice because I didnt want to spend the money at first, but cost me more money and time and effort in long run
  5. I don't think there was any type of immobiliser that early on dude, and if I am wrong and there is an immobiliser it wouldnt be bypassed by simply disconnecting of the battery.
  6. Totally agree with russ and thats what I was getting at really.
  7. I can indeed, but surely if you pour money in of that size, you intend on keeping indefinitely as the loses will be huge. I know theres gonna be unforseen circumstances etc but still.
  8. Can u do it for 25 quid russ, does it come with the mouth piece/beak that bolts on ?l
  9. Thats really not gonna help sell a car now is it, fact is most websites, forums, etc have spell check built in.
  10. Blue one isnt needed, u just need the coil pack dude
  11. Hacksaw through the rubber then saw through it in a parallel fashion till your through the bush outer metal piece being careful not to saw the axle itself. bit of an arsehole to do but alot quicker than burning them out
  12. Never needed to "bleed" a starlet system. always just fill the rad all the way to top, chuck rad cap on and go. done this countless times and never ever had an issue.
  13. Nice white glanza on m25 @ 3.45pm
  14. Pleasure mate, all the above is standard protocol and I am very glad your happy. Best regards and catch you soon.
  15. Compression check, then a diagnostic.simple
  16. Exactly.i would without a doubt do that for sure.my n/a was 500 quid and did me well.
  17. Cant guarantee it 100 % in ALL cases but yeah I have seen internals that are same in turbo as n/a Goes without saying pistons ARE NOT the same as u are probably aware. N/a Blocks only varied because of oil feed and knock sensor but easily sorted. Been covered before now and people running big power on "n/a engines other than original pistons
  18. Dude just buy an n/a engine and use that, all the same shit
  19. Well thats not right.thats very very odd.
  20. As I found recently my wideband sensor failed readings were mental inwent on a wild goose chase for weeks as I never thought it could have been faulty. Not saying its defo that but please remeber it could be a possibility. At cold start should be around 11 to 12. 14.8 at idle and cruise when warm 11-11.5 at wot
