My 5dr N/A......"Bob"

Recommended Posts

Well, ive been farting around on here for ages now and i`ve done loads of mods/fitted standard parts to bob

  • exedy clutch, gates timing belt, engine service, lambda sensor
  • corolla mani heat painted black
  • sub+amp, headunit,uprated speakers front and shelf
  • clear repeaters + silver tech bulb, indicator lenses
  • glanza front strut brace
  • speedline alloys
  • sorted all the major scratches out on the paint work
  • K&N panel filter
  • changed the top of the air box to a glanza one so its better suited under the front strut brace
  • whiteline anti lift kit (not fitted yet) + arb (fitted)
  • bump`s removed
  • cup holders fitted from a glanza
  • ignition timing has been advanced by bourkey industries

to follow

[*] lower on 25mm TTE of equivelant springs (as soon as they come up)

[*] possibly get some import plates

[*] Fit TTE spoiler (everything is ready to go, just waiting for better weather)

[*] fuel filter, oil + oil filter, thermostat + antifreeze, magnetic oil sump plug (all ready to go on just wait for another 3-4k miles and do it all together)

[*] front pads need to be checked and replaced with good quality aftermarket ones

Nice :)

Much better than before, what's up with the back end though it looks really low? Also, I think late spec glanza lights would look better than Reflets on green :( Oh and a TTE/Sportif spoiler would also be a good addition. B)

What's the Excedy clutch like? I had no idea you had one lol

Hey man

nice work on the paint marks, I know well how much of a bitch they are to remove.

like the speedlines and i kinda agree with the glanza lights they may suit the colour better, but no harm in being brave either.

maybe a nice simple splitter like a laguna splitter and I think that it would well sweet.

is it the rear lights you guys suggested to change or the front end? if i went for the glanza front it would be too expensive and after a while the glanza headlights would look naff whereas the NA ones r glass so are better in the long run.....as for the rear wiper its waaaay down on the list lol panel filter now comming on saturday

ya mate meant the rear lights. as for the wiper...its one of those little things.

As for getting panel filter I got a TRD one and it makes a subtle difference and doesn't affect ecomony hardly at all, so the k N one should work a treat.

Asad, what did you use to get rid of the scratch mate?

cheers buddy

G3 paste buddy i dint use a cloth did it with my bare hands (palm) that way its easier to "feel" any particles you have picked up...........and water

1) clean the area

2)apply a touch of water

3) apply g3 on your finger tips

4)use your palm to really rub it in (checking evey few seconds)

4)apply more water so on and so forth

5) youll get some residue type of thing left behinde dont worry about that apply polish to a cloth and it will rub away then YOU MUST WASH N WAX the car otherwise there will be white shizer every where

some might disagree with the method i used but it worked for me :)
