killamats Posted December 20, 2011 Share Posted December 20, 2011 Just had a quick look through this thread and its just awesome ;)Great project mate well done!!One of our cars is running a GT30 with a short ratio dog box and big cams, full map etc at 1.9bar boost and it has trouble getting it to spool up before its too late. its a massive turbo with massive spec, and we kept ARs down as much as possible. Now we're building a head with bigger valves and fittings springs for 10mm lift to change the cams, and see if it works like that.Good luck with it mate. If I were you, if you're still in time, change it and get a GT28, much better results and 450bhp attainable with good map. Erik Posted January 19, 2012 Author Share Posted January 19, 2012 Done some more to the car. Took over my brothers garage so the car is now parked on the lift and parts are going on and off. Welded in new seats, moved the battery to the trunk, changed front discs, prepared the 4e as a dummy engine to build a new manifold to the gt30+++ Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Welded in an16 in sump to get rid off pressureBrakes in front done with Ferrodo padsBrakes on rear done, oem brakes. Drilled discs for ventilationR888 all way roundRemoved all fuseboxes and original wiring. Moved battery to the rear.
