the wheel are Rota D1 Drift, so have a silly deep offset with a nice deep lip aswell

That's fucking gorgeous mate bet it's a right head turner lol.

If you haven't already, speak to this guy http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showuser=2862

He specialises in MR2's, here's his website: http://www.tbdevelopments.com/

cheers for the links bud, my mate is also a mr2 specialist hense one of the reasons why i got one, but i will have a nosey through the shop and see what neat bits i can get

haha minted!

just make sure you dont fishtail into any hard objects!

always loved these. must really kick you into the seat. how much was it?

payed £4800 which in my eyes is a bargain for what i got

Handeling wise it's immense, cusco coilovers with cross bracing, plus the 8"rear wheels, it takes a bit to get the back out, but when it does goes it goes lmao!

the kick from the stock turbo is silly! 1.2bar with like zero lag plus an uprated clutch and fidenza lightweight flywheel its like a motorbike... bahm! and your at red line, then the next gear

need to change the plates as i'v just been stopped twice and fined once in the last two weeks

going to court to dispute my last ticket as it was unfairly issued! they didnt even speak to me, just put a fixed penatly on my windscreen!

i love just sitting in it, so comfy and it's amazing what the stock seats can do! you can change lumber support, bring in the side bolsters to hug you in more, raise/lower... so much from just a seat lmao!

Had a good old nosey through, i would love a Garrett Gt28!... oh i want :(

the shop seriously needs updating to be honest, its locked me out since the server swap lol (don't ask)

i used to have quite a few type s bov's instock but they weren't the best i tested, the HKS is still one of the best to be honest buddy.

as for turbo kits i now do all external wastegate option kits, also full GT30 and GT35's upto about 700bhp.

anything you need or advice just ask buddy, also you check the forum out? would love to get more glanza's on there seeing i've just bought one myself

i dont have forged internals and as strong as the rev4 block and rods are etc i wouldn't wanna push more then a GT28/TD06.

if you get any Greddy type S's in give me a pm as i really, really want one :( i have a new HKS Gen3 i would quite happily swap or put towards a Greddy unit.

havnt had a chance to go into the forum but i will totaly get in there and have a poke around :)

ok buddy well for everyday reliability the most i'd go on the stock internals is 320bhp which is around the limits of the stock fuel injectors anyway, which is doable on the standard ct20b. the gt2860rs will make that power with a little less boost around 1.1bar but make alot more torque in the midrange. The Td06 is really a very oldschool turbo now and not used that much on the mr2, unless your cheaping out, but again there a 380bhp turbo and very laggy for what they are, in comparison a gt3071r will make 100bhp more top end and spool 500rpm sooner.

the rev 4 block isn't actually any stronger than the rev 3's, there was lots of talk of thickwall blocks etc but i've built loads and ultrasonic test them as a standard proceedure and i've never come across them being any stronger, alot of it was a marketing ploy by another tuning company to sell rev 4 bare blocks for £1000 at a time. But don't worry you tune it right the block will be fine  were've had 955bhp out of one so far and its not cracked (although have cracked a couple on the road to getting to that power)

as for boost controllers go for the avcr or the blitz dsbc i find works very well, i try and steer away from the profec-b's there cheap and simple but had a few issues with them in the past.

Any reason why you want a greddy type s? they sound a bit weak and squeeky on the ones i've played with, also prone to leaking

:( if your after a greddy bov the newer RS model or the brand new RZ versions which have had the leaking issue resolved but sound the same.

Hope that helps :)

so far i'm at 303bhp which is pretty dam good but just for pure reliabilty i didnt want to push the ct20 to far (to much boost and ceramic blades= dam times:()

the reason i want the type S is the sound... i love it to bits, thats funny psshhh and whissle sound.

had a hks on the glanza and now this and just need a change.

got a evcr and cant say i'm a great fan, awesome controler but hard to work, plus you cant actualy put in a boost value, and havnt found any sort of gain function yet. best i had was the HKS EVC6 that was the absolute tits! such a good controler.

what would you say next step it? looking through my spec... remap? give it another 20bhp maybe, give or take?

well 303bhp is very good for your mods, a little to good to be honest so either the dyno is out or you'll find your base timing is advanced a tiny bit or there is a sandwich board inside the ecu. saying that your torque is down a little as well, normally on the stock setup you'll find the torque will match the bhp so going from the norm you up about 20bhp on average but down 20ftlbs

well the ct20b is reliable to 1.2bar, just don't go over that. I must have done hundreds of gen 3+'s with these mods and there everyday reliable and max the stock fueling out. Although like you say ceramic isn't the best so a GT range turbo would be good its just alot of money really.

what issues you have with the avcr? there piss easy to work  go into settings and there is a boost value, like 1.2bar, and duty. the duty will raise hte boost level, once you get within a few % it'll turn to **** this means its gone into fuzzy logic and automatically sets the gain for you for best responce.

as for future mods you have a decat on there?
