Light Bulb Guide

Been looking for some uprated headlight bulbs just thought i`d make a little guide on what bulbs our cars use

Headlight bulb (main + dipped beam are combined) = H4

Sidelight/number plate/repeater bulbs = 501

Front indicator = 180deg pins 382 Gt only? 120deg pins 581 glanza?

Interior roof light = 269 (festoon type) 31mm

Glanza Foglight (same for remix bumper) = H3C

Not sure on the EP82 fog light bulbs and the rear light bulb arrangment, If any are wrong/different feel free to add them in everyone

ep82 quadlight dipped beam is hb3 the closest without going direct to toyota

in terms of the h4 main headlight. are we allowed the white / blue bulbs ?

asad have you considered HIDs?

and if you want to get white interior festoon bulbs its 31mm

I dont have enough monies to install the HID`s the right way (putting projector lenses in etc )

so bulbs will have to do....also on the look out for some fog lights now

The number plate surround bulbs for the Glanza's are

Capless 921 bulb's if anybody needs to know

Does anyone know what bulb types in the rear lenses are? ie the brake lights, indicator lights and reverse/fog lights?

Closest you can get for the gt(quadlight) is hb3 dipped beam hb4 main beam

Was looking at upgrading my gt's lights recently but couldnt find a perfect match to the original bulbs

Does anyone know the rear brake light bulb name? They're the big wedge ones

I've just used this guide to replace some bulbs, only to find they didn't fit.



Indicators - 382 bulbs have 180 degree fitment pins, whereas my Glanza has 120 degree pins, which is bulb type 581.



Also, the interior light bulb that goes in the roof is 31mm long, as yes, they come in different sizes which isn't mentioned either.

Nice editing ;)

Interior festoon 31mm bulb is type 269. Bulb 264 (mentioned above) is 42mm.

I got a stop tail light bulb for my GT the other day and it was referred to as a 21/5w if that's any help

Ah I knew it was 5w but didn't realise it was 21w for the brake. That would make complete sense though

Not an answer to your question but I bought Ring Ultima Headlights for the quadlight, the light from those head lights are nuts. So bright. Well worth investing.
