Ah well if you have a mapper who is hot on a certain ecu then yeah it would make sense... not denying you can get some great results with the Power FC but there are some big ecu players out there now like motec etc etc that might have been a good choice. but... the mapping might have not been so thorough if the guy isnt so confident with them.

cant imagine there will be much difference between 1.6 and 1.5bar lol, still mega power! but will defo need that 3port boost solenoid to control the 35... they do like to surge

I look forward to seeing how this goes, i recon you should see similar spool characteristics to a Td04 but with a load more power and torque for sure :)

if you find you need more power after there is a huuuge amount of bolt on turbos aswell to suit the same fitment mani. score lol ;)

yer i know that the motecs and all them other standalones are very good but also very specialised and very costly lol and they do give you a lot of different options - as long as my car can be mapped and will runn correctly as it should do without having any bloody stupid electrial/sensor faults flashed up that arent even there i will be happy !

i think that alot of the time matching the boost to the tune is one of the problems/harder skills to master - especially when your running each aspect by a seperate system - i'm hoping that by having it all being controlled by one individual unit that it should make things alot easier and smoother - especially with an external tial wastegate :)

and yer if i want more power il just get a hybrid with the same flanges lol

Nothing at all Amjad, all down to personal preference and tuners available in the area etc.

Looking forward to this, may go VF series one day seeing as they are the same flange type :)

What's wrong with using EMU with TD04? What would you recommend for TD04 at 1Bar?

for a td04 i'd use a blue Amjad - the Ultimate does have more features- but that just makes it more complex

i had no problems when i ran 1 bar on a blue but it wouldnt cope with 1.5 bar on a vf 35 thats the thing + you can get blues cheap nowadays :)

is this the one that ryan is building ed?

it is indeed rob - his skills are unreal - he is still gunna fit an external wastegate pipe to that and then vent it back into the downpipe aswell - its a tight fit !

Looks sweet Edd nice bit of fabrication :)

yes john it sure is !!!

Not sure if I like it that much tbh :/

i know it looks a bit odd from the length of the runners but its also gunna be very functional and will flow well and be near enough indestructible from whats it made of,

i LOVE it lol but each to their own opinion :)

Just remember length of runnrs isnt going to make it laggy etc, scoobies manies have 2'+ Runners :)

mani looks pretty cool but impo turbos with an internal gate dont look good top mounted :/

it aint finished yet bud - its gunna have an ext wg and plumbed into the downpipe too - i know the runners dont change the spool but they do affect the flow of gasses

Sorry im garbage at explaining things haha

What i meant about wastegate is the exhaust housing is alot bigger due to the fact its got internal gate there and even if its welded up the exhaust housing is massive

Just my peronall opinion :)

I was going to have top mounted but decided to hid my ugly turbo haha.

Looks good though pal, however the more important thing is power, best make big power :) 1.5 bar on stock internals (like me) or 2bar+ if forged :D
