Rob H@RCH Engineering
Its good int it Sam having the ability to put your hand on anything without seeing where there going! Comes in handy for all sorts especially bra straps lol
Rob H@RCH Engineering
Well the man cave extension is now finished and ready for sorting out! Just need to sort every thing thats been in this for the last 10 years out now! But its moved off the drive so my dads happy now! Got a few bits done on the car too! got the new brake set up sorted so I now have some room for the inlet to fit, just need to sort the pipes out next.Had to do a bit to make it fit but anything is possible!! There is some room! These are some of the custom bits I had to make to get it to fit, some recessed washers. I also beefed up the pedal bracket up while I was at it to stop some of the flex. Its not pretty but its much stronger now! Edited December 31, 2014 by Rob H

Rob H@RCH Engineering
Cheers! Started making the new fuel rails at last!! going to take a bit of time but what do you expect when using a machine thats made for cutting square holes in wood lol Cutting the blanks! I used a old rail as a jig so mine will fit better than a CJ performance one!! Only part drilled them for now till my new drill bit turns up later this week and im going the drill galleries before I drill the injector ports properly. Then started on milling off the exes! this is the bit thats going to take some time! But im well happy with the way its turning out! The piece in the centre will be taken out once I have drilled the gallery I need that bit so I can clamp it in the lathe to do the drilling. I also have made up the new brake pipe for master cylinder just need to bleed up the brakes now!
Rob H@RCH Engineering
These turned up this morning! once the rails are finished they will be going to Dean for these welding on!

Rob H@RCH Engineering
Bit more of an update! After deciding my mortising machine was not quite up been a milling machine I spent days looking at different machines and ended up getting a non runner that looks almost brand new but been a Chinese machine they are known to have issues mainly with the electrics and motor, So it got the full Rob H make over! I ordered a new motor, speed controller and a belt drive conversion to do away with the silly plastic gears. I also replaced all the bearings in the head with proper precision machine bearings instead of the more like starlet rear wheel bearings it came with. The foooooked motor and brushes, I will have to update this later when I take picks of the new set up! Next thing it needed was a power feed for the table, So I came up with this after seeing a similar set up on youtube, I used a starlet wiper motor tho and a home made control box that a mate wired up for me. http://vid87.photobucket.com/albums/k146/turbosr_2006/toylet/4649E3F9-6C4A-4013-8B04-8E0CB0BA2883_zpsizvxoa26.mp4 Then time for some work on the car to make room for the new boost pipe I moved the radiator into the centre to make room. Then to make a new home for the air filter away from the heat of the rad and to try keep some of the road crap getting to it. I made up a new mounting for the filter using a stainless flange I had made years ago for the old turbo set up! And thats about it for today plenty more to come over the next week and a bit! Rob H@RCH Engineering
Cheers Matt! Some more updates from today! Air filter mounted to the intake pipe! Then made a heat shield to try keep the intake temps down some more!Started with this Ended up with this! Got the radiator plumbed back in and the top pipe wrapped with heat proofing. And also got the fan all mounted up again to match the new rad position. Thats it again for today!

Rob H@RCH Engineering
Cheers mate, I try my best! Its all about the custom work I think that's the main reason I keep going at it, thats the bit I enjoy most.As for the boot floors its all down to the postage thats the main reason I haven't made more! _shaun_
Aye know what you mean. I don't have a workshop so everything I've done is nornally done under a tree In a public carpark in the pissing rain so getting things done is a lot harder but think I woulda lost the love along time ago if I just paid someone todo work for me!My postcodes pa237je if you get a chance to check Paisley freights normally best for me

Rob H@RCH Engineering
Cheers lads! John Im off work for another week yet I start back on 16th so if ya fancy it pop over for a cuppa!Had a play with the first of the fuel rails again to day I think this is going to end up been a test/ prototype as im not happy with the injector ports, as one is a bit oval due to the drill running off as it went through into the gallery, so next time I will drill the injector ports first! But any way heres some picks!!Theres still a lot more to do at it yet but its getting there!
Rob H@RCH Engineering
Got one of the rails just about finished now! just one more to make! It still needs a bit more trimming to lighten it a bit more but its not far off!
Rob H@RCH Engineering
Ones finished!! just needs the AN-6 fittings welding into the ends! Also made this today to mount the AEM map sensor on so it can use the honda position on the throttle body. I did start making it upside dome hence the hole in the top lol so I tapped it out and put a plug in it!
