Got a bit done on the TRD strut brace today started off with a blasting in the sand blasting cabinet.

Before and after with the mounts

Then the bar this was fun as it was just too long to fit in the cabinet properly so every thing got covered lol

The ends are staying bare alu as thats what they should be by the look of it and the bar is dark gray.

No I dont really have any set goals I am happy with the way it goes now to be honest lol so with an extra bar of boost it should be quite fun!! but its more the other bits that are going to be set up that will make the biggest improvements for me. The boost by gear and traction control are the bits it needs most lol because even with the diff it spins the wheels for fun as it is!

do you run water lines on your td05?

Cheers mate it cleaned up nice the strut brace! The Greddy TD05 16G does not have water pipes there oil cooled only.

Then I finally got round to repainting my rocker cover!

While the rocker cover was off I thought it would be a good idea to check the valve clearances now it has some miles on its back and well I will let the photo do the talking lol it took some time to get them spot on again!

Hi boost (1.6-1.8 bar), boost by gear, traction control, anti lag launch control setting up are just a few of the bits that need setting up in the ECU lol then I have TRD front ARB and white line rear ARBs to fit, and a few other bits to come!! So theres plenty to keep me going for now lol

May I ask, what are the gains of your spark-setup and was it expensive and hard or cheap and easy (or a mixture of that)?

There ain't really noticeable gains but it allows you to run more boost with out blowing out the spark. You really need to go stand alown some of the piggy backs can run coil plugs I think but I'm not sure. As for because well how far do you go lol.
