Well I have the ramp to my self for a week so I thought I would give it a good tidying up underneath! I had not been going long when I found some suspicious bubbles in the paint on the drivers side sill. I then proceeded to scrape them off only to fined the was not a lot left at the back of the paint! So this is what I have been up to today!!

A bit more prodding and it turned into this!

so I then cut it all out!

Then it was all rust cured ready for the paint in the morning!! The other side is still as good as new so im not too sure what exactly made this side go like it has apart from there been a bit of water in there.

I did get it welded and painted but forgot to take picks!! I hope this is the last of the welding! 15 years as a daily driver has started to take its toll on the old girl now so plenty of cleaning off the rust, painting and wax oiling is going on!

Cheers mate it was nice talking to you too!

Well I got some more done today got some paint on and the wax oil in the wheel arches. That should help keep it rust free!

null_zpsedfae73b.jpg

I also got cracked on with relocating the battery to the boot, I have had the box ages now so I thought I best get on with it!

I made all new earth leads to go around the engine bay too as I have used 2 core wire for the relocation it made sense to change them wile I was doing it all.

null_zpsc260332c.jpg

The ones on the right are the earth and the ones on the bobbing are the poss.

null_zps3875233d.jpg

The cables into the boot I will take some picks of them under the car but I forgot today.

This is genuine Carbon too!!! sandwiched in rubber or something similar so they are very flexible.

Ups thats my hellper

Fitting is nice and easy for every one too!! The rear brackets use one of the original liner bolts and then the 4 self tappers that come with the kit.

http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/016_zps7d7633c4.jpg.html'>016_zps7d7633c4.jpg

once you have them mounted hold to flap up to the bracket and mark them for the holes where you want them to go and then drill out the holes 6mm and bolt them up! I drilled one then used that as a guide to drill the second one so they end up exactly the same.

http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/017-1_zps1116f62a.jpg.html'>017-1_zps1116f62a.jpg

The fronts are all predrilled for ya so you just bolt the flaps to the bracket, take out the 2 arch liner bolts and bolt them on!! One thing I did have to do was cut the fronts down as they would have dragged on the floor at the length the come but this will depend on your ride height to what length you will need them.

Out of the box

http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/015-1_zps8dcb014f.jpg.html'>015-1_zps8dcb014f.jpg

Cut down. I only took 3/4 inc off them so there still pretty low so I may take some more off them yet.

Well its had a bit of a transformation this weekend!!! I dropped on a mint 98spec front bumper and genuine toyota splitter in the correct black for my car from Matt ep91 glanza so then sorted out for Richdog to paint my bonnet and side skirts I have had sat about ages. Must say Richdog (Simon) has done a fantastic job of painting them for me and got them all done within the week so I could get them fitted this weekend!

So heres how it looks now!

One Glanza one N\A lol

http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps486a8a49.jpg.html'>null_zps486a8a49.jpg

A pair of them!

http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zpsbe6ddc20.jpg.html'>null_zpsbe6ddc20.jpg

Bumper on for a test fit! It only needed a bit trimming off the bottom for the cooler pipes so I was happy with that!

http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zpsc380ac4a.jpg.html'>null_zpsc380ac4a.jpg

I made a tilt bracket for the number plate too.

http://s87.photobucket.com/user/turbosr_2006/media/toylet/null_zps8c370d98.jpg.html'>null_zps8c370d98.jpg
