beautifull mate, looks rockin, jdm blinkers all the way,

some 25mill hubcentric spacers would finnish it off, :)

loving those pics up there :)

put you back to the starlet members group from the paseo group.

Thanks geo! Glad you approve!

I've managed to secure a tire for my 16's so I won't have a need for spacers if I run those as they have quite a aggressive Offset for a starlet... Might do a quick refurb on them first... As there's a little bit of curbage.

Cheers bud, I did look at trying to change it, but I couldn't see how! Lol

Got the original wheels that came with this car when the previous owner bought it, they were tatty and needed a refurb, so satin black was the one.

He had already penned in the writing on the tires and the stuff wouldn't come off so I've just touched it up, still not sure on it but it'll do for now!

Here's what the looked like

Well the exhaust on 'tank' as I've now named him (from the TNK in the number plate) was a shambles.

It's a stock starlet down pipe fitted to a stock Glanza midsection (much larger bore) with a bit of random pipe cut at angles to attach a tenzo R backbox off a Glanza ( 2 1/2 inch pipe work!)

It gets caught on everything and is simply too loud. It was blowing slightly too.

So I took the plunge and sort it out.

I bought a stock starlet mid section for £35 from a local supplier and had a small stainless backbox laying around. I ordered a new tailpipe and got a pal at a exhaust place to sort it out for me :)

Here's the results

Ill get a better pic when it's light, but I went for a 'spoon' look a 2.5 inch outwardly rolled tailpipe.

Few little updates, had a few bulbs out on the dash so decided to update from the awful green lighting to red led's :)

You can see what colour green they all were from the rear demist button on this pic, it has since been changed to red too

I also found a pair of vibe crossovers and tweeters when I cleared out the shed a few months back, and had already decided I was gonna fit them in tank when I got the time.

Today was the day!

Choosing the location

Used a dremel to cut a hole and then clearance fitted the tweeter in place :)

Not in a ideal location, but as the front speakers point at the floor so it's the best of a bad situation really!

Also swapped out inlet manifolds the other day too, the car came with a corolla mani, but with a classic sacrifice of almost all bottom end torque, which makes it difficult to drive as a daily. So I fitted on the 4efte inlet manifold I got for a few quid off a mate, which restores most of the lost torque with good top end.

Also started tarting up the bay (it will all go to the gold soon)

Here's the old inlet

And the new one all painted up on the motor

How the motor looks at the mo :( (it needs work) also sporting my DIY battery clamp too, which also needs a little bit of adjusting!

Nice! I'm considering ditching the Corolla inlet for an FTE one if that's the case with torque! Just bought a Vibe active sub and it's made the car so much slower at the bottom end lol

Cheers guys.

After mucking around with all three inlet and different air filter combinations the one I've decided on is the fte inlet with stock air box, the intake pipe needs extending, but other than that its much more drive able.

However the corolla inlet is great for top end power!
