Definitely, more useable power is what I'm after as I usually just pootle about town with a spirited drive once in a while. Have you got a picture of what you did with the Airbox intake pipe? That's what I was wondering as if I was to use an FTE TB I assume it would be too small..and you mention it not being long enough either?

I doubt you'll notice much of a difference with the fte throttle body tbh, I'd just use the 4efe one.

Ill get a pic when it's light tomorrow for ya.

Yeah the inlet mani is actually shorter, so the throttle body sits further in than on the stock or corolla mani, so a little modding is required on the throttle cable carrier (as pictured) and this then means the inlet pipe for the air box feed is too short. All I did is use a sleeve of alloy pipe into the inlet pipe and a silicone joiner. :)

Got myself some yellow h4 bulbs a while ago, they were good but I wanted that hardcore yellow look, so I got these badboys, and then fitted them on my yellow bulbs for uber yellow lighting wins

Well the black wheels had a slow puncture with got worse and ruined the tire, so I had to fit my old wheels back on, so after a quick refurb thy returned to the car.

Now in new marmite colour flavour!

Well, I think it's time for an update!

I've been getting very tired of the black on the car, so it was time to de-black tank...

Phase 1,

The roof.

When I got the car it had a satin black vinyl roof, which made the car stupidly hot in the summer, and difficult to keep clean most of the time, so it was time to loose it.

Now I've been worried about doing this since I had the car, as I have no idea what state the paintwork underneath was in.

But I decided it was time!

Point of no return!

Phase 2,

The bonnet was black when I got the car, but it needed respraying, I had a go last year, but unfortunately the paint reacted and my only choice for a quick fix was to go matt black, which I initially liked, but then it was a chore to keep clean and it didn't match the roof.

So I had some paint left over from painting the supra last year, so I got it put into some (4) rattle cans at work and decided to have another go.

Spent the morning rubbing the bastard down. note to self, matt black + heat of the engine + general heat of the year = concrete paint!

It needed a good compound afterwards, so I left it a few days before giving it a good going over, and it came out pretty good after all!

Ill get some better pics when I've cleaned it again.

Thanks mate ;)

Just a quick little update, the supra will be going away for winter again this year at the end of the month, so I've lavished a bit of attention on the starlet so she'll survive winter with no probs. first thing was mot, which she passed with a couple of advisory's one being a tire, which co-incidentally developed a puncture the next day :S (another went a little before the mot, so I have two new fronts) the other was rear wheel bearings, these were changed literally days before I got the car so should just need tightening up.

Full service was carried out, including oil & filter, sparks, leads, and new belts (I had a fuel filter but the old one was being stubborn and I was running out of light, so I'll save that for another day.

Also did the yearly check for any rust, which was all good, fuel tank looks a little rusty, and the front wishbones, but they still appear to be solid. but other than that it's all good.

Also got a new hands free kit for the supra (parrot mki9100), so my old one from that has been donated to the starlet (pics to come)

I have a couple of plans for it during the winter, a possible wheel refurb (there's a surprise), a little project that I've been working on for a few years (all will be revealed soon).

Little update, the supra is now tucked up for winter, so the starlet is being abused for now, it desperately needs a clean, as it's disgusting ATM, part way through its winter coat.

After getting into my bikes again I decided I was sick of trying to fit it inside the car, so I've decided to get a roof carrier, so I therefore needed some roof bars. Function over form yo!

Found some mont blanc's locally for £20 designed for an Audi a3, and managed to modify them to fit tank.

After a quick speed run to check they were on tight I decided to bomb them

Starlets with roof racks are cool

Could you get that roof any dirtier? :p

Looking good scutch! And as scene roofracks are, at least you're properly using it! Looks well too with the stickerbombing I have to say :D

Cheers fellas! My mate has some bars on his with bike carriers, I've never been a fan, but it's nice to have the ability to carry stuff on the roof now, I totally get it.

Glanza Kit with roof racks... sorry, in my opinion that ruins the look of the car. Maybe would be better with NA Kit. Glanza Kit (especially spoiler) always looks like "go fast" but roofracks look like "slow". And that combination... I'd never do it.

Please either remove roof rack or Glanza Kit. At least the spoiler :(
