reason this is always on off is because it was a dog before i bought it, i just wasnt expecting it to happen so soon

Its luck of the draw with any second hand car tbh, my ep85 has low milage and the engine blew the bottom end on the stock 4e within a month or so of buying it. Will get there after all the bugs are worked out of it ;)

yeah engine is running well, only driven it home from james house so far so not really given it a proper good run yet

no smoke or leaks now thank god! see how long it lasts haha ive turned the boost down from 1bar to 0.85 aswell

going to be cleaning the car this weekend hopefully so should put up some pics

Glad it ok dude and good choice to turn the boost down to stock nearly u still have loads of fun with it with out blowing it up

took it for a long run tonight, still having the idle problem, so unsure what that is at the moment

Is your idle screw setup ok ? Cleaned the throttle body ? Check all the vac lines too the tb ?

Idle issues are not massive fixes so im pleased you got it working, good effort at sticking at it mate!! many would of just scrapped it!

if your coming to taggy's then yes if its consistent, it will break a week after taggy's party, so should be fine haha

yeah got a fuel filter still to go on from when i did the headgasket! just havent had time to fit it in anywhere lol.
