Does anyone elses v5 look like this?

Come across the v5 for the v today and its only just ocured to me that NOWHERE does it state that the model is a glanza v?? No trim, no model, no variant, no version, No max net power... (enter number here lol). Not only that but it doesnt even state that its a starlet.... Only that its a 1338cc toyota with a 4e engine!!!

All this time ive always insured it as a glanza with a rocketed premium... Are you thinking what im thinking?? Anyone else got a similar sort of thing??

Mine is a starlet gl on my v5 but insured as a glanza v

My old glanza's log book said toyota saloon lol

Mine said Toyota Saloon. I wrote to the DVLA and changed it to Glanza V.

I think as it stands the insurance would still be void if its insured as a glanza when in actual fact thats not the vehicle stated on the log book,

It would make more sense to insure it to what it says on the v5... but then in reality id be driving the wrong car! To be on the safe side like idrees said i'll have to get the model and version added by dvla to avoid any ass fucking

You have the vin number on it an that's the main bit. Can find out the model of it off that. On mine all I have in the engine number is "unknown"

Mine said GL on v5 but when I initially insure it I just said it is a Glanza V and the imported has registered it wrong wso they asked for a photocopy of the logbook and just insured it as a V.

Mine comes up corolla on insurance sites but says starlet 1.3 on v5.

Yeah aslong as the vin numbers the same and it says Toyota on there you'll be fine. And aslong as its insured as a glanza.

How do you change it to 3 door I'm guessing you have to write the dvla a letter?

Yeah before i bought mine i was looking at one the day before picking it up i done a hpi check on it came back as a gl 5 door in red when it was a white v so i just stayed away

I gave all the details when I got my log book it came back as a black toyota 1332cc no other details
