This pic was taken at rising sun 2011 after owning the car about 18months.

Not long after this the mains and big ends went so i decided to have it forged as i wanted more boost and a bigger turbo after getting bored of a standard ct9 haha.

i decided to buy a greddy td05 14b along with sparco ns 2 alloys, mc chu carbon reverse bonnet scoop and recaro seats from honda accord type r + many more parts.

also relocated battery to boot - to tidy the engine bay up!

had strut brace and rocker cover powder coated by metal magic in candy red - really good job!

Also treat the car to a new set of 15 inch maxis tryres and not forgetting the big brakes - red 6 pots ksports!

then had a custom manifold ...............

car was mapped at 1.4bar and made 266bhp......

then removed the abs, replacing with copper piping - temp fix

absolutely awesome mate!

very interested in your turbo setup as i also have a greddy tdp5 14b kit. thought i was the only one out there tbh for a starlet.

how does it drive boost etc?? havent got mine running and very intersted to hear how it goes.

you reckon it will make 300 at 1.5 bar as this i my plans.

love the build mate.

The manifold is a work of art nortech are the best for manifolds and custom fabrication, im fully spooled just before 4,000 rpm and when it hits full boost its well worth the wait should see 300+ plus at 1.5 bar mate its all about the map and garry plant @ GR Performance is one of the best mappers going the power he as got out of cars is unbelievable. He mapped mark lancasters (aka lanxters) stock internals on a td04 @1.3 bar and made 270bhp and was plenty more power left to come out of it but with it being on stock internals he did not want to push it too far. Im hoping to see 300-330bhp @ 1.6-1.8 bar but will see what the out come is.

You've certainly tidied that up nicely, as above good spec now.

How are the brakes with the abs removed - does it make the pedal travel shorter and any locking up issues on track?

It feels alot better and cleans the engine bay up a hell of alot and there easy to lock up lol there fantastic brakes worth every penny :)

Really clean v mate shame them weds arnt 15's

I like the wedsports but could not have 6 pots on with them only being 14's love the sparcos more think they suit the car better they need a referb and paint work as few marks and scratchers here and there but never bothers me just a track/fast road car for ragging about in my eyes
