Yes I've dicked a s3 but not a focus I have destroyed a mates st-2 though

Kept up with my mates remapped S3

All on a CT9!

Destroyed my mate's 370bhp rs to around 115-120 then his torque kicked in, had my td05 running just over 300bhp

Spec of Focus unknown, prob standard lol.

The old s3's are pretty lame. My cars quicker than them upto 110 at least, st2's are a bit quicker start pulling back around 90-100

That is with 175hp and n/a though lol

S3's arrn't all that quick, pretty slow infact, they are very restricted unless modified.

I kept with a RS upto about 80mph. And thats when i was CT9 but dont think he could drive it TBH.

had a go with a standard s3 , i was running 0.5 bar on a td04,no map.

quite evenly matched, he was a bit quicker but not by much.

My mate has an 09 S3, basic mods and a map, mine pulled 5 or so car lentghs upto an indicated 150, he then wound me in and would have probably came past if i hadnt braked. Clocks said 165 and AVCR said 148, he reckoned 165 but i dont know! Fast cars when fettled..

This was on VF24 1.1Bar...

Really depens what engine the S3 has in it and whats been done to it. Id say the later 2L turbo is the best out of the lot.

Focus rs mk 1, in my K24 very well set up glanza at .5bar gave it a good race, 1bar he refused to race me ever again lol.

Stage 2 map should take it way above 300bhp on a mk2 anyway

As many of you know I'm a massive S3 fan but I was shocked when a remapped 58 reg Sportback couldn't pass me in an almost stock Glanza (.8bar, Tein coilovers). We had 3 runs and he couldn't pass me on straight or bends. I put it down to his driving though. Saying that, we didn't get past 3rd gear and I assume he would have eventually passed me if we didn't run out of (private) road.

PS. That was a manual with Forge 007P, Miltek and remap.

Its remapped 2.0l leon cupras and the mk5 golf gti's that you want to watch. With an intake and remap my mates leons running 325hp pulls round to 160 rolling in 6th from 60 on a stretch of private road id top out at at 135-140 giving it hell through all gears!

Stock my car pulled on it in 4th with a passenger up a hill though. But now its a different story

Its only the cupra not the cupra R so 240ish stock

Must be one hell of a shit driver then I expect starlet with around 210bhp to beat a remaped mk2 s3
