Zeldoz Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Well, the wonderful British weather has unfortunately claimed my front number plate..It wasn't obviously held on enough. Since I wanted to change to small plates, I'm going to have to do it now. What are your ways on mounting them? A tilt bracket? Or one of the ones than mount underneath a grill and come out at a 90degree angle?Also, what's the smallest plate size I can get away with legally, 7x5? I'm thinking of getting motorbike plates for front an back. Quote

daniel_g Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 90° brackets buddy, 12x6 is the smallest you can get away with i think which is USA import size plates, this looks ok on the front but its too small to fill the rear recess, a JAP size 13x7 looks best here imo. Quote
Jamie5414 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 12x6 plates and 3m industrial velcro, two strips (or one large one), put the loop on the car and the hook on the numberplate. so when you take it off the sponge/mitt doesn't stick to it when cleaning around etc Quote
