Tommyk Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Wot speakers have people found best for the dash the little 10cm ones? Quote
crispyeel Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Also wondering about this as I have a pair of JBL speakers that don't fit Only two of the screw holes line up Quote
crispyeel Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Anyone? Surely everyone cant be running standard crappy speakers? Quote
grantb93 Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 I've just brought a set a pioneers out of halfords they are on offer for £15 and you can see a difference they are lot more clear Quote
fiddlersport Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 have fitted kenwoods in the space, use a small washer on both the screws and you should be fine Quote
crispyeel Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Nice one. Cheers guys! I'm gonna have another go at fitting mine this weekend Quote
dangeestarlet Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I got a set of pioneers out of a glanza I broke they fit perfect in stock position under dash and sound awesome Quote
aleximport25 Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 ive had a couple of sets and finished off with hertz deci 10cm speakers, your never going to get any depth behind them as there is no enclosures. but the clarity i get is brilliant. im after a set for the parcel shelf which will get a 4ch amp Quote
Amjad Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 They're all pretty crap. I use 6" comps and tweeters powered by an amp. Ripped out dash ones at first opportunity Quote
ste91 Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 They're all pretty crap. I use 6" comps and tweeters powered by an amp. Ripped out dash ones at first opportunity This is the best option by far, 6.5" components, make some custom pods for the doors if you have to. The OEM Starlet speakers are not an ideal size and aren't in a very good location. I'm selling a good 2 channel amp if anyone's looking. ;) Quote
Gainzy Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I am currently looking for a new set mine have ran their days.. I like JBL pioneer fusion are canny alpine's good list to go from these were in mine for a whileI was told it's the RMS is what to look for and not so much watt not sure how true that is though Quote
Amjad Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 RMS is what you want, but a head unit won't push out more than about 20w RMS Quote
