dan106
With the back arches did you remove the arch trim fixings completely? Got squeaky arches myself but can't raise it up. Was actually gong to buy this car, drove 2.5 hours with the cash but couldn't get the immobiliser to disengage. Was a real clean shell. That would explain why the alarm was unplugged when I bought it then!Yeah chopped the inside out completely Nice GT Cheers bro!Well, to summarise, I bought BCs, a set of t1rs and had a wheel fall off at 55 because I'm a spastic Bit disappointed with the bcs as they don't go low at all, but they ride nice and work a lot better than my previous set up! dan106
Standard turbo? Good power for no map, almost too good to be true!! Should break 200 with a map thoughI was surprised, and dubious at first, but after I saw an a3 and a 106 both make 50bhp less than what they should've made i was happy lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
dan106
Not much to report on, got a hypersport shortshift and fitted that along with some bearings to replace the ruined gear linkage bushes, still not sure if I like the short shift yet!In other news Turbo oil seals are gone, it's been smoking like a trooper, so it's getting taken apart in the next few days if the weather lets meAlso got a clunk/knock which seems like lower arm bushes, so some poly bushes and an ALK will probably be coming soon! dan106
So after sitting gathering dust for 3 weeks I managed to get the turbo back on todayRunning fully braided waterlines, race tech braided oil feed, need to sort out the return and intercooler piping but just glad it makes these noises againhttp://s823.photobucket.com/user/danwethepeople/media/CD93AA37-236D-416A-80D0-6CB6DD23774F_zpsip80sdq6.mp4.htmlSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited August 27, 2016 by dan106

dan106
So the starlets still smoking the same as before the turbo got rebuilt, now it's not my daily it's just been sitting on my drive being unloved It did however get a custom centre section made by my mateSo I'm hoping the smokings got something to do with the shitty oil return on the turbo, bought some stainless pipe, but forgot to buy new gaskets (doh!) so we couldn't do it today, but he had a look anywayAlso got a hks air filter to replace the halfords crap and gave it a refurbSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited October 28, 2016 by dan106
dan106
Haven't updated in ages, seen as its smoking and I recently found swarf on the sump plug I've lost a lot of love for it. Bought an LSD box off Kbond (what a knob) all the threaded holes were stripped out and it fucking leaks so that hasn't helped Also bought a set of twinpots which made the brake pedal go so soft and one ended up sticking on so they're back in a box in the shed till I can be arsed to do anything with them So yeah I doubt fuck all will happen with this because I want a house now lol.
