Pikey009
The Toyota wheel is spot on! I've a deep dish fitted to mine atm, but I was tempted to go for the same wheel, only problem I had with the stock wheel is to have my arms comfy and not stretched out I had to have the seat at a certain point, but then my legs would bash the cowl every now and then xD so mine is for a purpose otherwise I'd have the same wheelI know exactly what you mean, I sit like an old lady lol really close. Hopefully when I get the custom seat rails sorted it'll help things too.

Pikey009
Cheers mate. Got everything fitted this morning bar the anti lift kit and rear strut. The rear strut catches on the back of the rear seats so I'm going to have to trim them :/ really happy with the way the paint work came out on the bits I sprayed. Gave the car a clean and polish aswell
Pikey009
got the rear cusco strut painted and fitted today bit of careful dremel work to retain the rear plastics which will be put to black at some point. Just need a glanza boot carpet now.Didn't think the strut brace would make much difference but I'm pretty impressed with it really feels like it's tightened up the rear end Edited December 10, 2015 by Pikey009

Di_Bodi
This is really one of the nicest Starlets I've seen!!!Keep it simple and as much OEM as possible! I wish I could put my hands on one of them TTE back boes (or even the tip itself like yor one!) but they seem to be gone from this planet;( May I ask where did you get the clear front lamps from? Cheers and again: CLEANEST SR EVER!!
Pikey009
Ah mate thanks very much for your kind words it took me a very long time find a good one in black. Along the way I discovered that mileage isn't everything although a month after buying mine I got offered a really clean one with crazy low miles but had already committed to mine. The chrystal lights are from ID WORKZ and are genuine options- just lift the front end nicely. The TTE back boxes are very rare as you know but rot so quickly even on an 11k car that's been in storage. I'm pleased I saved the tailpipe and my custom system but I'd still probably be tempted by an original Remus system. Like you mentioned in your thread mate I too wanted the glanza rear strut but it's a lot of work to get one to fit- It might be one of the last things I get done but we will see. Must say though that the cusco strut is brilliant
Di_Bodi
I'm completely getting your approach for tuning your SR. It's not a glanza so never should be her replica. I'm taking similar direction with my Irish EP91 but struggling with time to fit some parts I have shelved and never built the thread here either... Good Luck with further progress! Pikey009
Well it's no secret that I don't like seeing sr's getting glanza repped ha ha but I guess if they were all the same then it'd be a bit boring. Just nowadays there aren't many left original ish. Ah yeh I know what you mean- are you busy with work/ family etc? My work has been mental lately and I've got a wife and little boy so don't get much man time! It's made me realise how much time I had when I had my gt4 and was single! Pikey009
I thought I'd post up a history of my cars:My first car was a mint original low mileage SR which I only sold because I had to go to Iraq in 2004
Pikey009
The next was a mk2 Mr2 in a choice colour I must admit ha ha! But it was very clean and a big step up in performance and I loved every minute of driving it. The only thing that's stopped me getting another is the two seater thing and I sold mine because I went In an evo which leads me to the next car and boost!
Pikey009
So next came the gt4.. Still the best car I've ever owned, completely underrated and anyone wanting to progress in terms of grip from starlets should defiantly consider a decent one of these. I was single when I owned it and spent a lot of cash over the years to get it to 403whp with equal torque. They aren't heavy cars to start with and I managed to easily strip 100kg out of it with out being mental.

Pikey009
I shouldn't have ever sold it really and to this day I'm not sure why I did. While it was getting rebuilt I owned an ep82 and then this Corolla TTE- for anyone not in the know, these had kits offered by dealers with various options. Mine had MIM wheels, TTE front end, TTE spoiler, TTE springs and working fogs. Was a lovely car and I traded it in for the next car but looking back I shouldn't have as they are so rare now. Pikey009
So I part ex'd the Corolla in and used the money from the celica to buy a gb270 wagon. There were only 100 made and mine was number 1 it had 19k on the clock and not a mark.
Pikey009
By this time though I had a pretty decent sized loan due to the amount of money spent on the celica and money towards the scooby. So I decided I needed to behave for a bit- get rid of the loan and was looking to change jobs. So I got an Auris SR180 and had it mapped to 204 with 340lbsft. I also fitted some team dynamics pro race 1.3's which were superlight. The car never missed a beat and was good fun beating things it shouldn't have but was dreadful in the corners and had the old man image.
