TrisK
Got an ep3 daily. Love it tbf
Ollieh17
Ignis sports are a great crack. Might find it more fun than your glanza. Wouldnt say they are alot more refined though. Im currently looking for an estate under 1k. Easy to wont too much with a small budget
ReeceGolliker
I think I might go for one! I'd rather have an unrefined fun car haha! Are they reliable? I only do about 20 miles a week so fuel isn't a huge issue! Just don't want to be breaking down and having to bring the Glanza out haha
Ollieh17
Yeh mate never had an issue with mine. Mine on 65k never had an advisory on its MOT
Whitenoize
Got an ep3 daily. Love it tbf same here mate just got one a few weeks ago actually really like it they arnt particularly quick but seem a good solid reliable car and it handles pretty awesome
NewbieLewby
what about a little turbo kei car. or na starlet.
ReeceGolliker
I'll have a look into insurance and get looking for one! The kei cars I've seen are pricey! And I don't know how they'd cope with daily driving
Addymk2
Ignis sports will rape you on insurance, older saab? IS200? Last minute auction on ebay?
Ollieh17
I had ignis sport as my first car at 20 0 ncb and was £1500. Good postcode area though
Addymk2
Alfa 147/156? Aslong as the cambelts decent dont listen to the reliability crap. Edited January 14, 2016 by Addymk2
adzy
I have an n/a starlet I picked up for a daily last week, it's great for nipping about in, gets 38mpg too. Cheap and reliable
ReeceGolliker
My glanza is around £1k so I doubt it'll be too bad, 2 years ncb and good postcode, they've quoted me £150 more than a starlet SR so it's not too bad! Just need to find a nice standard one! It'll be my car for 9 months of the year pretty much whilst I'm at uni so needs to be atleast s little interesting haha
Addymk2
My Clio 182 gets 35+ mpg...
patman
Not French Cheap as possible Reliable as possible Cheap to run/insureOk it doesn't look ok, you guys are gonna absolutely paste me for saying this Hahahaha a 90's something Nissan Micra, 998cc that's probably as cheap to run as it gets
ReeceGolliker
I'll avoid French cars more than walking haha! I did think about an older, maybe k10 micra but it'll be a pretty miserable experience and maybe not that reliable! (Could get a white one though and have a glanza on slightly less steroids) haha
Hair
1.3 EP80 all day.
patman
I'll avoid French cars more than walking haha! I did think about an older, maybe k10 micra but it'll be a pretty miserable experience and maybe not that reliable! (Could get a white one though and have a glanza on slightly less steroids) hahaOnly reason I said Micra mate was when I was having my GT engine built that was the only option I had to get to work and back, or spend an hour and a half each way on a bus, to be fair, it slid everywhere in the wet, bounced all over the place, no power steering, but it was realiable and so cheap to run, did 85mph too down the duel carriage way haha
morgey
My first car was an automatic 1.0l k11 micra, that thing was so much fun. Not much to go wrong with it and it had obscene amounts of body roll it was hilarious. Managed to get 100mph out of it a few times 😂I still say e11 corolla. I thack the shit out of mine and its cost me pennies in 5 years of owning it.
