just the bolt pattern is wider pcd and size of the clutch disc is sometimes smaller, not heard of clearance problems before

has anyone got pics of a diy trigger wheel and pick up sensor? im looking for ideas

rob, i have seen your set up and looks really smart, was it easy enough to make and what parts did you source from what cars?

will this run with stock sensors or will all new sensors be needed?

no probs. glad to help. i dont think i have the spacer in the last pic, (think it was because i didnt have any plate) but i put it in later and dont have any issues

spot on. gonna be doing more testing on mine tonight, forgot to fit the new lambda sensor aswell.

was looking at the kit thats forsale on here just now and i am 99.999999999999999999999% sure the kit doesnt work with 305 discs. the pic shows the calipers bolted to the hub under a 16" wheel but with NO disc. this is because the 305 disc does NOT fit!!!!! a smaller disc will have to be used and spaced to suit the caliper. sorry to keep banging on about this but i have experimented with this and know it dont work!!

UPDATE!! its running pretty sweet. put a gasket and new o ring on the filter housing and the leak has stopped. so i bunged the headlight in and bumper on and went a spin........pwhoar!!! running 0.6 bar, didnt push it hard tho. did around 3 miles and it went well. come back and did a compression test and it was 195 psi across all four cylinders. gonna do some more test runs before i re comission it to daily life :D

there is a set for sale just now, but cant see how the set up is. you might of seen it, but i have tried this route and was not successful. i will try get some mock up phots this weekend. i got the calipers (fiat/focus are the same caliper) and fiat 305 discs. tbh, unless you get the kit straight off a car, i wouldnt bother. i cant remember off hand, but when i mocked it up it was needing a big spacer behind the disc, then a spacer in front of the disc to space the wheel out from the caliper

i was trying this out on my gt, and yes the bolt holes line up perfectly, but there was no way i was gonna fit my wheels (16" team dynamics pro race 1.2's) under standard arches. i would of needed summit like ziscos drag cars new front wings to cover them. also the caliper wouldnt fit on the bolt holes with the fiat 305x28 discs. one would fit but the caliper swung out away from the 2nd bolt. im not speaking rubbish because i tryed everything to make it work (because im a tight arse) but in the end i had to buy radial mount calipers and got new plates made. are you sure they are

you need the ae111 sss hubs to make these fit. i was going to go this route with the fiat coupe discs,rs focus calipers and STANDARD hubs but it would of needed a massive spacers behind the disc, then a spacer to get the wheel past the calipers. ideally you need to sell the hubs with this kit. no matter how i tried, these wouldnt fit to standard hubs. im not trying to put people off, but just so people are aware.
