was thinking of selling mine, but maybe not till next year. just built a forged 5e, but not had the enjoyment out of it yet. but if the right money come.... only thing is im a fair bit away from you

when doing oil seals i always stay with genuine, the aftermarket 1's seem to be alot harder or dont seal right. i ruined a brand new clutch on the landrover by not using genuine crank seals at the flywheel end. may seem expensive from camskill but atleast you know its gonna be upto the job. try idworkz, hes not badly priced for genuine seals

yeah, i seen that, thats a shitter. just keep an eye out for a blue motor with white paint on it, then cave its windows in, lol. cant go wrong with wepr stuff. -
working on mine today, been busy fitting new central heating into the house, so not touched it for a while. so i, fitted the exhaust cam after stripping a thread for a cam cap timing belts back on, sumps nearly ready for re-sealing. (hate this job, get covered in oil, drips of oil going down your sleeve and lying on my back for too long makes me feel shit, lol) just the brakes to clean and then finish fitting silicone hoses and fit a boost controller

its a hard 1 to gauge, but there really bad for not sealing in the curvey bits of the sump at both ends.
-
try flicking the starter aswell with a big bar on. as for leaky sumps, there a b*stard to seal. too much and it will drop into the sump and block the strainer, and not enough and they dont seal. make sure both faces are ocd clean and free of oil, or the sealant wont connect with the faces and seal. try the sump again

no, hks 1's are for ct9's and the actuator is adjustable.

nobody makes them off the shelf, there always diy 1's.

got this fixed. took the car upto the machine shop and they did it outside whilst still loaded on the trailer. picking it up tomoz night. i had removed the cams to nip up the head bolts as the gasket was weaping slightly and was just refitting them and , ping, it went. first time i have ever stripped a thread fitting the cams. been on and off enough times, lol. maybe that was a cause tho, not sure, but alls good now. hope to get it back together at weekend

i was just thinking more on the capability's of standard parts any at what point you will be needing to upgrade, budget upgrades and tried and tested parts. new owners are normally new to the forums aswel, i know i was, needing to find out more info on these motors and it was the first time onto a forum. like a sticky for "new to the scene, ways to upgrade, and things to stay clear of" sort of thing

why didnt you just move the bracket across abit, thats what i did, cut it off (the whole side, not the 1 with captive nut), bolted the shock in place, then welded the tab back on. -
worse driver I've ever come across after hitting my truck

as above^^ trying to sell a rarb

its not a good bit to take a pic of. its the front right hand rocker /cam cap bolt. might just change the head over. i got a couple more that can go on, or finish port and polishing the head i have started and get it rebuilt and slapped on. i dont have the heli kit, but would be confident enough to do the job. still needing to find out the thread pitch and size, as i dont have a thread gauge
