right, little rant here, i am fed up seeing wants for window motors when all it takes is some wd40 and a good wire brush. 9 times out of 10 the window slows down, and then eventually stops working. (this is me coming from my experience) taking the door card off i plugged the window switch back in and found the motor was wanting to turn, but nothing going up or down. so i carried on to take the window motor apart, to find the window runner looked like i had dragged it out of the bottom of the ocean and the little gear from the motor looked like its twin, lol. http://i1200.photobucket.com/albums/bb326/revnov1/windowrunner_zps0133fb82.jpg so with a wire brush, plenty of wd40 and then some grease slapped a load of copper grease in the runner, put it all back together and its still running sweet as a nut. im sorry if the motor has actually packed in, but atleast try to look at the problem before spending money and a part that can be revived and cost nothing but time to sort. and i know i asked for a window motor, but i didnt get it because i had no money, so thats why i stripped it. rant over (and sorry if not in the rite section)

just had a call from the engineering shop to say the ross gudgeon pin dont fit in the scat rods. does the little end need a hone out so the pin just slips in, or does it need warming up and pressing in? need help asap, cheers

nice, heres mine was going to go pro street with it (might do at a later date yet) but for now was thinking of going either 4age or redtop and type 9, anglia 105 back axle and escort front suspension. i have got an 8x4 sheet of plate on order and wouldnt mind gettn a move on with it soon. i like both comfy and hot rod look, as a daily the zetec would be ideal, although the yank v8's would be better the fuel bill for it would be silly. keep this updated, nice to see how you get on.

i would say ditch the boost controller and try again, if the spring was fucked then it wouldnt have any more than 0.8 all the way through, it would just open at that all the time because thats all the spring can handle. take the ewg apart and make sure the diaphram isnt split by being caught in the lid when it was closed up (i caught mine but thankfully didnt split)

i was running mine on standard bottom end, 1.9mm metal head gasket, turbo head, td04 at 0.8 bar, was running sweet till bottom end went (it had new shells when i bought it, but dont think they were sized correctly, so buggered it, done over a thousand miles on it tho. lol) but will be bolting up another 1 this week to drop back in it. doing this as temp running as i have an engine away for forging

so it was, lol. yeah was not bad, every1 had differnt things done. was good. till we left, lol. mine needs an engine now, lol.

oh... i get ya now. so if i get 5 more teeth machined in and remove 1 and hey presto. looks like i have to get myself a new oil pump to house the sensor
