  1. Most of the cars are pictured on my build thread. If I ever get the chance to have the gt4 back then I'm having it
  2. To be honest mate the levin set up wasn't cheap but I thought with going turbo it'd be a good investment for me and I've seen and heard people spending money trying to make the stock brakes good so thought I'd just go for it ha ha. Right my car history- deep breath... First car: immaculate White Starlet SR MR2 mk2 NA - Yellow for some mad reason! Celica GT4 ST205 ended up being 403whp ( regret selling it every day since) Ep80 5door ( used as a run around while the Celica had its build) Rare white Corolla E111 1.6 kitted with the full TTE/WRC kit (used as a daily saving the gt4 for weekends) I
  3. Yeh they ripped me right off when I ordered mine- asked for an extra £20 and since then every breakers I've spoken to has quoted silly money. How far do you have to go each day then? What cars have you had in the past? I miss power so much- it's got that bad that I now think our diesel golf is quick ha ha. I may have to start doing loads of miles again at some point in the next few months due to work so if hat happens I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep the SR :/ trying to convince my other half for us to keep it stored. I'm running levin twin pots on the front mate with meaty disks. It's
  4. The mani's are great aren't they finally got hold of the upper support bracket today for mine! That's taken me ages! Ah mate you'll have to get another car and save the SR, I'm the same though, love going for nice little drives in the sun but hate putting miles on it! Why don't you get a fabia vrs- they're dirt cheap at the min and great little cars.
  5. On a gt4?- that's cheap as chips, who's doing it?
  6. Sorted me out with a Corolla Inlet manifold support bracket- not exactly easy to come by or a big money earner for him but helped me out regardless. He probably only broke even after postage. Top guy to deal with as usual.
  7. It's the reason I ended up going for levin twinpots- wanted a kit and got initial contact but then heard nothing :/ I know they're on a lot of forums though so have been really busy
  8. :/ poo. Best get a stock cat too then
  9. All MOT emissions have the CAT test so it'd fail that. Depends how friendly your garage is- my gt4 used to become a Saab turbo for that part! When I go turbo on the SR I was wondering if I'd be ok running something like a blitz decat? Everything else will be stock ct9 apart from running an EMB or similar. Just wondered if I'd get boost creep?
  10. Welcome mate. As said already it's your car and do what you want to make it your own. I wouldn't be a true SR purist if I didn't try to convince you to keep it original though ha ha. But if you want to change nearly everything that makes it an SR I'd just get a non SR and mod that or just hold back keep it clean and save for a gt or glanza. That being said, we all have our opinions about the SR Toyota should've made and what they actually made so do your own take on it but most cosmetic mods will result in it not really being an SR anymore. As for turboing, the route I'm going down is bolting
  11. Jesus mate some useless fucking people out there isnt there! Im with Morgey though, loads better solving all the little issues yourself, must be v satisfying
  12. Have you got a build thread for it? Always liked white and silver gt's with black quad lights.
  13. Can't be any worse than a glanza of gt turbo although the price difference in parts is one thing I guess
  14. I always get confused about which one it comes from ha ha. Looked into it myself at one point but I'm just saving the money for a stock ct9 set up with all supporting mods. Is that your gt in your profile pic?
  15. Does it just require welding to the front pipe?
  16. That's crazy, people are catching on to what they are now
  17. There are a few decent CS versions for sale at the min with lower mileage ;)
  18. Buy this and sell the advance, you'd never need another car trust me
  19. Any hose the right size will fit- it's basically a plastic filler pipe with some sort of fabric/rubber hose that's jubilee clipped around it to protect it from objects I think. I took the jb clip off mine and the thing literally fell apart ha ha
  20. The eBay cores seem ok but ive seen fitment and reliability issues with some. Plus I want the whole fitting kit with a decent fan and if anything were to go wrong down the line id rather have bought it all from a reputable tuning company. You might be fine though mate as the guys have said and get all the bits on the cheap and never have any issues
  21. Any difference with the exhaust mate? And did it take must modification to fit?
  22. I guess it depends what set up and power you'll be running. I'm only going to be running a stock ct9 set up by am going for a triple core to future proof the car
