  1. Yeh he older people have too much time on their hands I think. Whenever I go see the grandparents they literally know exactly what everyone is doing down their street ha ha. Looking forward to the next instalment of the teggy
  2. Cheers buddy, glad I could help you out
  3. That's bollocks mate why should it bother them what you're doing. If I lived next door you'd have an extra set of hands when ever you wanted ha ha.
  4. Saw this one last night, I actually like the body kit but the new engine etc has only been in 100miles so why sell it so soon? Do love these though
  5. Just start your own business mate
  6. Cheers buddy, he was 10lbs 11!
  7. Well we had our second baby yesterday morning at 230 so progress will now be slow for a while. I did manage to nip out for some supplies earlier in the SR
  8. Ha ha think it's moved on a bit now from the original subject, we all like to get our 50p's worth in
  9. I've got a mk5 golf gt tdi as my family car, it's fantastic and it's only the second non jap car i've owned. Not saying it sets my pants on fire but it does pretty well for what it is and far from boring. The other being a Clio 197 which was the best fwd car i've ever driven and would run rings around every other car i've owned apart from the gt4. Yeh it was made from tin foil and fag packets i will admit that but the handling and brakes were amazing for a stock car. At the end of the day i love my Starlet and 90% of old jap cars but having no eardrums left and possibly needing a new spine does wear thin after a while. But that's probably our fault as we love to modify things, left standard a lot of them are pretty civilised but slow by todays standards. As for the hot Audis can people seriously say they're boring? So an RS3 is boring? I'm not going to go through them all but come on not all new cars German or otherwise are boring they're just different.
  10. Lol most Audis are lovely- just different to 90's jap cars that's all.
  11. Near the 100bhp mark hopfully. But I might not be quite as close with the stock exhaust manifold. Saves money in the long run though
  12. I'm not saying it has- might just be left over from a service but it looks like it might live in the boot. Looks like a nice little example of its trouble free
  13. Yeh good point mate pleased you managed to store the 4. Now you can really get cracking with the teg. I put the pics you sent me on my stag doo whatsapp thread, everyone was egging me on to buy it back. I told them I didn't need egging on ha ha
  14. Absolute bargain although the oil in the boot is a worry- suggests it's using some.
  15. He's cracking mate
  16. https://youtu.be/G0pB_jnLDtw
  17. Never seen them to be honest but defiantly an option.
  18. Yeh the s1 is awesome. The vid of it pretty much laughing at a Gtr in the rain is awesome
  19. Looks fantastic. Walker I didn't realise it was your brother who's the photographer! That's how your pics are so good!
  20. And this def isn't an insult but anyone remember the reanult 5 gt turbo by carisma? The wing reminds me of that car. It's totally different mate
  21. Awesome buddy some really nice shots and as mentioned you can only improve. Would love to know how much the box is ha ha but that's rude of me
  22. Who maps det3's? Cool that's what I thought ref the EMB but I wasn't too sure. I know loads about gt4's but still learning about these. Really thanks for all the info so far everyone
  23. around £500 as I'll already have the EMB so with that about a grand really. I'd like to fit it all myself but I'm not sure if I'll be able to as I'd then have to drive it to get mapped :/ yeh they're nippy alright and I dare say if I get near 100bhp just on the EMB it'll be great. It'll still be missing the torque though. I've been doing a lot of research into everything so that I can start collecting parts when I'm ready. Yeh mate even those 1.4's are slow as hell. I'll be tracking mine when I'm running the EMB and I've got decent tyres on. Got to say though that my brakes are bloody awesome with the new discs on. Already shown an ep3 up in the corners near where I live- he was a pants driver
  24. Thanks for all the help really appreciate it. i didn't realise i needed a whole engine loom. it's going to be off in the future when i finally get this done but i'd rather do all my home work now so i know what needs to be done. There are plenty of threads on it but all seem to be different and say that you need different things so can be confusing. If i could pull on an ek9 i'd be very happy. I'm just after useable power that i can put down in the corners. I'll be running near double the stock power and tourque at the end of the day so it'll feel like a huge improvement I was looking into some sort of aftermarket ct9 kit like race-tech but it seems like over kill for what i want to achieve so that was why i was asking how strong the stock set up is for stock power. Not to mention it'd eat all of my budget even though they're lovely kits.
  25. No sour grapes at all- I said good luck to you and on your sale thread I praised the car. But since you've now said a few things that are wrong with it I'm not that fussed anymore. Anyway that's that I won't be doing anything like this again, not worth it. Was actually trying to stick up for someone I thought was a friend on here but never mind.
