    Awesome mate. Go for an SR 4wd turbo ;) that's what I planned when I had mine. Will still be a sleeper of it looks like a glanza though I guess.

    Yeh what is that about?- contacted a lot of different companies recently and not just relating to car stuff but no one gets back to me! Leaves me wondering if people want to make any money at all. I hope you manage to get the starlet sorted soon and I'll keep an eye on both threads

    Had a 'soft' one on my MPS and still got pretty bad vibrations but it's an option I guess. James- how come you're selling?

    Right ok doesn't sound too bad at all. I'll ieep an eye out for one and store it until I need to do a clutch change. Coolio, how are things with the starlet?

    Well either way I appreciate the heads up and will keep my eye out for a box as I'll need one when I boost the SR. You mentioned you have to notch the selector, what did you mean? Will you be doing much to the outside of the Corolla mate?

    Yeh they're all 1.3's. 5th and 6th must be loads better for cruising on those boxes though. Those Celicas just don't seem to sell very well which is odd really as they're a sorted car- must be that interior that puts people off. Yeh I mean I'm a bit of a purist but what they made from the Shell was epic wasn't it

    Seems that the JD tuning ones on eBay have gone but they were only £65 so I'm not surprised

    Just found three 5door g6's on gumtree- never knew they did them that spec in that shape. If I got a runner it'd defiantly turn into a project so there's no way I'd get one ha ha

    Cheers buddy Yeh im thinking of getting hold of a g6 box but I'll have to buy a whole car I think. Should be able to make my money back off the interior of the car etc but don't really want to break one that's still on the road. There's a crashed damaged one but it's miles away and I'd have to hire a trailer :/ the ratios on my SR are plop and can only imagine that it'll feel even worse with a turbo strapped to it. Yeh not many of those sport m's around are there and Toyota went the whole hog with extra ridgity on those didn't they but still gave them a shocking interior! Fensports celica x

    Love a good set of speedlines I'm still ready to take that damaged one off you Westly ;) Cheers for the info Morgey I didn't realise the G6r boxes are different. Does the g6 box fit directly on to starlet mounting points then? And how do you find the ratios? The first three are short aren't they and the 6th is a cruising gear? Do you know someone with an ss3 then? I randomly saw one for sale in Cyprus when I was on holiday 4 years ago but it was crazy expensive. The last one in the uk was fairly cheap though and was up for ages

    Hey There's nothing wrong with 75hp! ;) is a g6 box a direct bolt on for a starlet? I've driven a lovely white SS3 that had black wheels TD's on. Wasn't in anger but handled very well- has the super strut yeh. I actually think a tweaked one would keep up with a standard st205 gt4.

    I dare say 160odd bhp doesn't feel to bad after the gt4 was mapped it felt like a whole new car and nothin else was really changed on it at that point. I do like a white SS3 but they seem to have vanished now

    Lovely car mate I have a big soft spot for these. More so the older ones with the tte kit and owned one but still love this. Wish they'd done the g6r with the 20v like you mentioned before. Im a big Celica fan too but they are painfully slow unless you go gt4 and in stock form mine felt slow.

    Absolutely love it, Dad had the UK SI 1.6 or 1.8 in red and I loved it. Really nice to see this rare car being restored

    Awesome colour I've been quoted 300 for a front and rear bumper spray- minor repair along with a flash on a sill and my wing mirrors done too. Do you think that's a good price? as I don't think it's too bad
