  1. And I'm that obsessed with the car looking standard that I'm black heat painting the stainless silencer this weekend so you won't be able to tell its aftermarket ha ha
  2. I didn't lol it was the prev owner who had it welded onto a standard starlet box :/ and it was welded on upside down! So now I have all the looks but it won't fall to pieces. Don't get me wrong id be very tempted if a genuine one came up for sale.
  3. Same as Morgey- cut the tail pipe off and got it welded to a custom system, will last years and has all the look of the original
  4. Thanks lads, that was my fave place too but wanted some opinions can't wait to get these twin pots on this weekend.
  5. Also got the plaque cut out and polished, as I said it's just a test piece at the moment to see the layout and size. I'm undecided on where to mount it- any ideas?
  6. Finally got the brakes refinished and rebuilt- used bigg red for the seal kit and two new Pistons. Been so busy at work. The paint is drying and I'll hopefully get them on this weekend.
  7. Yeh that's the thing it's in a heated workshop. I gave the pot a stir tonight and have gone at them again as I've just rebuilt the twin pots. Fingers crossed all is good in the morning
  8. Yeh that's what I've got but it took around 4 days to dry :/ says 1hr on the tin lol
  9. I didn't mean in that sense- I meant lower down on the plate lol but I know what you mean. It's the last three numbers of my vin but I might go to 5. It'd be impossible to find out exactly which number mine is as I don't even think Toyota know ha ha.
  10. I got the test plaques back from my mate. Pretty happy with the detail but think we will drop the build number down a little and make the text bigger
  11. Loving the progress mate. What paint are you using for the calipers and the axle etc?
  12. They are spot on, the seal kit was perfect as are the new Pistons
  13. I guess it's a trip to Halfords then.
  14. Looking forward to seeing how you get on mate
  15. I've not attempted any fitting yet- basically I got the anti lift kit and rear anti roll bar second hand so no grease. Sorry I should've been clearer really
  16. Copper slip it is then!- cheers mate
  17. It's nicer to create a car yourself isn't it and youd end up spending loads more on a Glanza. Cool well fingers crossed its a good turbo. I'll probably send mine away for a rebuild or buy a hybrid
  18. Does anyone know of the likes of Powerflex and Whiteline bush grease be bought on its own? Or could I just use copper slip?
  19. Technically you should mate as they are close to that from factory so in theory we are glanzas getting a remap lol. Is your ct9 rebuilt? Yeh def a good decision to keep it as you built the car and made it how it is. There aren't many nice glanzas for sale anyway unless you want to pay 5k upwards.
  20. A Glanza oil filter housing? Ah right I guess we can't compare quotes then as mine was just for an emanage fitted and mapped. Great news can't wait to see the end result!
  21. Forgot to ask- what oil relocation kit have you got? And just out of curiosity how much have you been quoted to have the emanage fitted and mapped? As I've heard a few different quotes people have had, mine being the highest
