Get the clutch sorted and start beating on it. Get the 4age bug ;) A yank local to me had one of these and he made a ram air scoop for it. Made a huge improvement lol was quicker than a lightly modded glanza

My spare is from a 200mm think it's been lightened a bit but nothing special. You could get a 212mm flywheel from any non tvis 16v 4age and any 20v. I think 7afe's from 1.8 carinas etc had 212mm but would need to make sure it was a 8 bolt flywheel. Any questions fire away ill help if I can

tbh its a bit overkill, its a full kit, flywheel etc if you're interested hit me up but it will be a lot more than a oem replacement lol you might find that has the smaller 200mm clutch being a F reg. i might have a 212mm stock flywheel here though, ill have to have a measure, if i do that opens your options for clutch plates as any from glanza, 20v, new celica and corolla t sports all fit. will need the pressure plate to suit though,

I've a lovely carbon exedy clutch that will handle almost anything you throw at it here ;)

All levins that had twinpots were 278mm but when bolted to the starlet they only fit under 260mm. With the celica carrier you might be able to use a bigger disc size

To use the levin disc it needs the spacer and cutting down to 260mm Using the astra discs, it eliminates the need for the spacer under the disc but still needs cutting down to 260mm to fit levin twin pots. These are made to fit celica brake upgrades not the levin ones

The inlet cam is gear driven off the exhaust cam (inside the rocker cover) . If you look at the inlet gear it's split and if removed without putting a locking pin in it moves and needs re tensioning

If the heads rattling it might be the inlet cam gear, they are sprung and need tensioning I believe. If its not that then and they're in tolerance there's no need to replace them. They are just a solid disc of metal. As long as they haven't worn or scored then leave them be.

shims, you need to measure your clearances see whats in tolerance, remove the ones out of tolerance then measure them, then order shim in the size you need

black Sr 20v SAH reg was running down the M4 with a silver v with mid spoiler, they were cruising with a blue corolla GTI16, anyone on here?
