  1. Do you mean with or without a gasket? But I cant see it lasting tbh I've used this gasket paper about 6" further down on an egr bung and its been fine its just here its being a royal pain! Lol Not sure what you mean dude? put it over the flange on the collector then tap around each runner?
  2. Set a date and see what interest there is. Sat afternoon/evening the 27th could work or is august a better option? The other question is where? If People are willing to head over from peterborough, cambridge, yarmouth area so needs to be fairly central to all?
  3. Post japfest 2 update. Had a wicked day baking in the heat, briefly spoke to a few of you, drongo boi, john, matt, steve ishaq and a couple of others but didnt catch your names. Next year some track times on the cards for sure! Manifolds back off, new gasket started blowing on the way home! Even worse than the last one.. All that i could piece together. :/ You can see that it had blown between the runners and out on one corner, the same corner as previously. Not sure why this is but cant worry about it. Only thing is the only place it could have gone is straight onto the mesh in the cat! :/ Now i had asked about different options and was pointed at a couple, but 1990timeismoney or luke for ease, offered to make me a new copper gasket for a good price out of some material he had left over, so i essentially chalk rubbed the downpipe onto a piece of paper and scanned it to him. Couple of hours later i receive a nice text with this picture attached. If its as good as it looks then hopefully this will solve this issue once and for all! Should be receiving it in the next few days so can test fit it. In the meantime im going to take the manifold and downpipe/collector to work and run a clock over the mating surfaces to ensure they are flat, if not ill flick over them to make sure they are, this will minimise the chances of it happening again! Will update once its fitted again. And thanks for sorting me out in next to no time Luke
  4. Standard diff has a pin across it, thats definitely an aftermarket diff. Only damage i could see being done is some slightly burrs inside the diff against the splines where the spring clip has been catching. Shouldn't have affected the mechanics of the diff at all.
  5. cant say thanks enough!!
  6. ^^^ trololol
  7. My mate has a subaru justy with a swift turbo motor, also use a viscous coupling. He removed his coupling and made a solid replacement prop section. But because he did this he had to weld his rear diff up to strengthen it because the viscous coupling dramatically reduced the amount of torque going through to the rear diff. He is only running 215 whp but this has worked for him so far, so until you get another diff sorted this ''might" (and i say that not knowing) be your best option. It also helped loads on his 1/4 mile times. Oh and he poly filled his prop and diff mounts as well. ;)
  8. You call that anglian region? its more east midlands lol Sounds good though just a bit far for me!

Literally cant wait and soo glad its coming on the current gen as well!
  11. Its quite a risk to run something like this imo, if they made other stuff that is less of a crucial component that people had been using for some time then i'd consider it. But if a rod breaks. Worst case senario is new head, block, valves, crank, piston and rod.... Basically a new engine. Personally i would rather run a tried and tested item on a part like this. Well unless i had money to throw around the place that is.
  12. From what i can work out 4efte runs 212mm clutch 5e runs 200mm at a guess and has a different bolt pattern on the crank 3e that id works sell has 212mm clutch and 5e bolt pattern so you can use 4efte clutch kits So you could run a 5e flywheel with a 200mm uprated clutch from a 89< 4age corolla or mr2 or similar
  13. Seemed to mis my car, that was still there
