  1. id love to do this but theres so much more to it than just mounts. cutting of chassis rail/s wiring powersteering issues driveshafts... plus the cost of the engine... never going to be cheap
  2. Im following that on youtube, round 2 at croft is up there now as well!
  3. Yeah theres plenty of FE stuff on here, i want GE progress
  4. Yep in the uk telegraph poles, lampposts etc peoples gardens and hedges if they want to claim all have to be paid for! Think its like £1600 for a telegraph pole to be refitted and connected. Not 100% sure but i know its over £1k
  5. Im completely the opposite. I miss my camera and back button :L
  6. Thats pretty bad! n For every meter and height of barrier marked its something like 200 per meter per row of armco regardless of whether its damaged. My mate stacked his vts saxo there and including £2k for the car it cost him near on £6k for a few meters of barriers, removal (tow truck), clear up, storage and scrappage! (Track wasnt shut) That is going to be one costly accident as he bounced off a fair few barriers and almost certainly closed the track which costs extra!
  7. Man you're such a tease! Cant wait for this to be finished
  8. I've heard of a few ip5's getting bent from people sitting on them lol
  9. Hate my iphone 4s, would rather i kept my shitty xperia x8 does everything my 4s does but cost 1/3rd as much a month. Battery life is pretty bad on this and its not even a year old. Apps constantly closing and freezing. I expected it on my old x8 as it was an old phone running new apps but not on whats supposed to be a top end phone
  10. Not a fan of mine tbh, prefered it with just poly bushed bar and droplinks. Getting it on track in the next few weeks so will see what i think then
  11. Wahheeyyy finally! Congrats dude now just to finish it off
  12. I told ya you couldnt give them away Use them as gladiator weapons or something lol
  13. You can, will just be a lot of work, see what 4age powered kp starlets use. Id guess a ae86 box but id you could use almost anything if you could get a conversion plate Rear axle you could try use 4wd starlet rear axle. Tbh i think you're in over your head I've you haven't got the slightest clue lol
  14. I did this but i was wasted (americans house party!) on the back seats, couldnt be bothered to put the key in the ignition so used the remote start, was running hours with the hazards flashing away me and a mate soundo haha Took it down some mega bumpy dirt track the other month to have a fire in the woods with some girls that must have seemed a bit strange if anybody had seen it. Only grounded the manifold out once on the way back out. Lol
  15. Dont think im driving but if i am ill hit you guys up
  16. Nowhere abroad, Newquay end of august, however was talk of a ring trip but that never got off the ground Could really do with sitting on a beach with a few cocktails and beers for a week or two though lol @bluebear, canada sounds awesome my bosses daughter goes to whistler skiing a fair bit and loves it everytime making me mega jealous! Havent been skiing in 10 years
  17. No fairly easy get the disc and caliper out the way. And its a case of rotating it to the place on the hub with clearance and smacking out each one and then reverse the process putting them back it
  18. Beams not that bad but the tanks seen better days, i'd get a 2nd tank wire wheel it and go to town on anti rust paint chip resistant stuff and underseal and wait till urs splits and replace it. But thats just me lol
  19. The fucked box i brought for £110 turned out to be a shorter ratio in 3rd and 4th than the ae92 c52 and fitted with a ae111 levin lsd I've now got myself a low milage cusco lsd to replace it with. If someone sends me a glanza or gt inner driveshaft cup ill see if it fits the ae111 lsd and i can sell it as a cheap upgrade for someone ;)
  20. You mean this one paul? Thats a 7aGe 20v 212whp n/a ;)
  21. Cheers man I See ya thinking but deffo going full sleeper ;) Well the cars off the road for a few weeks so took it for a quick drive before putting it in my mates garage so hers a last hoorah for a bit! And this is why its off the road! One semi stripped c52 lsd box ;) Pretty sure 2nd and 5th gear are fucked, 5th is visually, not got to 2nd but it crunches like mad! So luckily got a 2nd box to nick parts from which has a mint 5th gear but got to get both shafts from both boxes stripped down so we can make a good box from both. Im also having both gearsets inspected by a gearbox specialist. Might be needing a new 2nd gear and hub which will be about £260 then im getting new syncros and bearings throughout. Not looking forward to the total cost but should be able to do it for £400 max and never have to worry about it again. Will find out after i get the verdict from J.R Dains. Oh also found out the bearings are mostly standard koyo bearings so no need for silly toyota prices there ;) And since its booked in for a track day on the 24th i have still got a spare gearbox just incase (might drop one of the lsd's in if i have to )
  22. Not that it would be in a toyota show room but castrol Toms supra gt500
  23. Yeah I've removed some before. Cant remember why though, think i had some corolla gti ones which were about 12mm longer so fitted them so i didnt need the collared nuts M12 x 1.5 is the thread
