  1. What about a friend? the only people i know who can afford to move out are either coupled up or renting with a friend. And even then most cant afford to keep modifying there cars!
  2. Mine unstuck itself on a really hot day! Lol
  3. Get a house mate and share the bills. Seems the only way to do it atm! Hence why im still at home lol
  4. Im planning on the 8pm sleep thing up around 1:30 then go from there. Luckily im staying at my passengers granddads in bristol saturday night so can get some sleep before heading home
  5. Sleeper mode.... Yes it needs a splitter and lowering slightly on the front. Getting a cupra lip at JF hopefully and if he weather holds out on friday ill bring the front down a tad as well. I might even attempt to fit my SR decals for full sleeper spec ;-)
  6. Nice, good to see you're taking your time getting everything checked and sorted to run proper sweet. Should be a good little motor when you're finished with it
  7. Mines sun and rain. I dont really care, spare shoes and socks n ill be away lol
  8. £32 lol
  9. Sort my exhaust knock and change my wheels
  10. Mid 25k (miles) so is low milage tbf. But yea i expected around the 155-165hp mark tbh. If you're on about the 2zz powered ones it does make sense to use a more modern powerful engine but thats even more effort to fit in a starlet lol. However i would love to see a k20 powered starlet like the k20 levin thats been done And yes you do have to chop the chassis leg or mount the engine very low but I've not had any issue with mine yet. (Cut leg on mine)
  11. It depends on the engine really. I know dyno results can vary but mine dyno'd in at 175hp 122lbft and I've been alongside 185hp b18 ek civics that are fully stripped and sat side by side with them up to a fair speed. And that was me on full interior, so im fairly confident mine must be up in that reigion somewhere. Mines exhuast, mani, flywheel, trumpets, filter, sports cat, no power steering or aircon and still on the auto ecu
  12. Silvertops use and air flow meter (Afm) whereas the blacktops run a Map sensor. This means the blacktops intake is much more open to tuning (Can be run on open) but the silvertop has to always be run with the intake pipe and plenum over the throttles. It is possible to put the blacktop ecu and map sensor setup onto the silver top which would be a good route to take to start with then when you need it get a standalone ecu for the final tuning. But things that are better on the blacktops are. Highercomp pistons 11.5:1 vs 11:1 Better designed ports on the head Larger throttlebodies. 45mm vs 42mm Map sensor setup. Silvertop Better rods Combustion chamber is slightly better design for det prevension. But this can be sorted on the blacktop head if its ever removed. Doing the list of mods to a silvertop previously stated and fitting it with a map sensor setup should get 180-190 at a guess. (They dont seem to make as much power for some. Probably the smaller throttles and lower compression ratio)
  13. 10000RPM!!!!!!!!!!1111!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111
  14. Silvertops are about 5hp down on blacktops. Get a full exhaust, manifold decat, good cai, cams, trd 0.8mm head gasket and ecu and you should see around that figure. But the extra revs you might want to give it will be the killer for the stock blacktop rods.
  15. Yeah blacktops rods are the week points. Ideally you would want silvertop or late spec 16v rods in a blacktop engine. If its to be boosted a little bit of work in the combustion chamber should be done to smooth out a couple of edges
  16. Haha this will be savage with a 4age in it. What version you going for? 16 or 20v?
  17. Very impressive dude, got a great little and very competitive motor there Good luck on future events!
  18. Buy some glanza recaro rails. Or if you want really low bride low rider rails Recaro rails fit most recaro seats
  19. Disco 3 surely ud be lucky if you got more than 30mpg? A4/passat/octavia diesels?
  20. Same here, im just not that much of a perfectionist haha
  21. You're putting way to much effort in lol all im going to do is give mine a good clean!
  22. Haha i get that, just go slowly I've had mine like it years and had no problem
  23. Wheels are a big improvement, be good when the springs are on her
  24. Wanted, the black ignition barrel surround that the extra barrel light goes around. As i have a uk spec with an immobiliser (doesn't work now) it has a larger barrel surround so the light doesn't fit. And theres no way i can make it fit without the part from the glanza. Pictures if mine Soo please and thank you cash waiting Located in England Cheers morgey
