Naa im staying uk spec, more sleeper ;) Soo decided to whip my air filter off today and leave it soaking so i can re-oil it and also got my indicators off so i can change them to the unsmoked ambers i swapped with matts. Really? These took all my body weight on one slider and didn't move, all 15stone lol Did have a look at them today at work and its actually the rubber seal that they slide in so it must be these that they are locking up in. Might try some hi temp silocone grease on them see if that works better! Naa the rest came apart easily no issues with any of it, cleaned everything, greased it all and cleaned any grime or rust out of any of the seal and seal seating areas and put it back together. Its a lot smoother and easier on the handbrake arm than before which is good. Just these sliders that are causing me concern.

Its a gearbox out, pull apart, replace parts reassemble and refit gearbox. Most people just swap gearbox

Change the bumper, wiper arms new exhaust and some wheels it would be ok, even that rear style diffuser lip could look good if an aggressive kit is fitted.

I've just had a set of mine apart, sliders were solid. Out they came, cleaned them up, checked that they slid ok. greased with some high temperature bearing grease and assembled them, put them down for 5 minutes and the sliders had seized solid again. As you can imagine i was baffled. The grease isn't overly thick and they weren't rusty in the slightest? :s

I can completely understand, the rents went on holiday for a fortnight and it was bliss, having you own space it great! But crippling any form of excitement by moving out is something im not willing to do

I've just worked out what i spend a week. On fixed bills for cars (tax fuel mot insurance) phone. They are the only fixed out goings i have, due to a dont pay rent but save towards a house basis. (Thankyou rents) It comes to about £85, with nothing going wrong, a week, this leaves me £200-220 a week (savings come out of this as well) i can garrentee i couldn't afford to live on my own with this much and still have both my cars and mod them or have the social life or holidays i enjoy. Independence costs unfortunately :/

Been at my company 6 years and am only £7.80. On a 40ish hour week. Really need to find a new job as im sure a cnc machinist, forktruck driver, injection mould setter, tool maker etc all earn the same or more than that. Only difference is im not specialised in any one of these, just know bits of all of them The main thing that stops me is the fact that the bosses here are soo laid back i can turn up 15 mins late everyday and not loose my job and i get loads of perks like free use of cnc machines and stuff!
