  1. Dont want to scare monger or anything but i thought i would google the colour, to see what it was like, and this popped up on the first set of results before clicking images http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=136&t=884898&.. Seems to be a nightmare to keep properly clean/scratch/swirl free. But yes when cleaned and polished up its a very nice colour
  2. Haha my phone froze up last night, yea im pretty sure i read u need the shifter itself not sure about cables but might be best to have them just incase!
  3. Ahh i missed that somehow dude, bit unfortunate but atleast its still usable. If theres a center arm rest in it i need the lid as i broke the hinge in my one If you do get the box i think you need the shifter mechanism also! Id consider getting the steering wheel from the g6r aswell i think they have 3 spoke leather like 98 spec v ones! They also have alloy bonnets ;) haha

  7. Get a tape measure out, but if yours is a bugeye corolla then no way the cars are completely different sizes and widths. I would save up and get one fitted £110-20 and its guaranteed as well. Only reason i would consider what you are thinking is if i had bare shell there but why not use the money for buying the corolla for the window?
  8. nice clean base to build from, good luck with her
  9. i see the sense of humor is the same down under
  10. OOOO EEEMMMM GEEEEEEE!!!!! KP, EF9, Skyline 2000gt, Motul/mugen civic race car, possibly an old celica or corolla or 2 all mint!! i would be like jimmy saville at an unmonitored primary school
  11. completely forgot about this, but this is the car that inspired me to do my swap. australian built, 7AGE 1.9ltr 212whp N/A track slag, destroyed most track records in its area for under 2ltr non turbo class! in its 1st outing it broke the class record 3 times a magazine feature from before it was turned 7AGE, theres also some errors in this. i.e 54mm thick levin discs?? missing a page...
  12. Haha noooo, I meant the new mr2 wheels, like amjads ones. But might be a little too showy for a sleeper http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/57967-15-mr2-roadstersvery-recent-uniroyal-rainsport-2s-l275/#entry754608 I keep thinking about ep70 chassis just for the sheer weight saving, i would be looking at 160kg loss if i swapped to a ep70 so this would be very similar
  13. Link doesnt work on my phone :/
  14. I know you cant see the rear completely here but they dont sit that low, you cant get the lip kit if you want lower but heres a pic on mine without skirts Found a better pic
  15. Haha same here I've got crap all over the place, its just getting the motivation to get around to selling it lol
  16. 99% of cars cost money, its only classics that dont as the cars go up in value. A forged ep built by yourself then with the cost of mapping etc wont make the money you spent on it unless you break the car when it comes to selling it.
  17. I have to agree yes they are a money pit but I've got to the point numberous times of saying yep thats it im happy with it, no more money lets just enjoy it. Then get bored or discover that because of one mod its made something else more noticable i end up spending money on something else lol I've had my car 6 years in march and i have no intentions of selling it yet. Great fun and relatively quick with 175ponies and a full interior. Id say try one, you can always sell it if you dont like it ;)
  18. Yes they're about 1-1.5" lower, should just surround the top 1/4 of your exhaust i would guess
  19. Toyo's are Cheap and cheerful, the px4's are designed for wet weather whereas the t1r's are classed as summer tyres. Id imagine they would be pretty good in the dry but would over heat before t1r's and they dont take all that long to get past there best
  20. I've got an old set of these mate, they are seized but if you have some time you might be able to free them up. They are scattered about a few places so will need to gather all the bits together and hope they're all still there but if they are you can have them pretty cheap if your interested?
  21. If its not too far out the way im sure they wouldnt mind. If i head there this year i wouldnt mind a slight detour
  22. I just sleep on the back seats of my car or in the marquee or well anywhere really im usually that drunk i only really notice how uncomfortable i am when i wake up I must admit i will be having a shower if im there for 3 nights! Haha
  23. Ahh understandable, should hope someone does a european road trip and see if they could swing by and drop one off for you ;) you can always hope
  24. Get some lynx etc standard Shower in a can
