  1. Still needing to finish it dude! but when i get it sorted ill get some pics up and with it fitted. Bit that wont be till the snows past Thanks man, got a few things to sort out and tidy up but should be a good year for it i hope! Got a few idea's floating around and a bit of research to do but if it happened it would make it even more special
  2. V mount ftw!
  3. Haha glad i made your day lol
  4. Also the rear mount on the car is aluminium on lsd boxes whereas normal boxes they are a painted black steel mount
  5. Also got a lsd box on there! And yes its an arb, and it looks stock to me!
  6. Yeah that should work, one for pos and one for neg. The other thing I've seen done used these http://www.electricalcarservices.com/Bus-Bars/Power-Posts/Pass-Through-Panel-Studs/Pass-Through-Panel-Studs/Jump-Start-Connector-Red-ECS-VBCJB374N0N02__p-289-333-1540.aspx You can get red and black and bolt them through the bulk head, so no visual wires as they would be hidden out the way on the other side of bulkhead (behind dash) but then you always have the terminals there to jump from if need be
  7. I hate all you people who live near hills! Cheers for the heads up tho
  8. I think the ones im getting might be like that, but wont know till i get them, might make a stencil up to go with them!

  11. Yeah will do mate, i need to clear up with mod's first that its ok for me to do it. I wont be taking any money just forwarding info etc but want to make sure there isn't an issue. Being such a low quantity it shouldnt be but you never know!

  14. Pic is awesome man! If you're on your phone you wont be able to see them. But on pc's you can have a signiture. A small flat picture or few lines of text underneather your post. It automatically attaches it after every comment ;)
  15. If its a pipe thread i doubt yourll have one laying around im afraid! But worth a try i suppose. Im guessing you havnt got a local pipe place near by? If you can wait a few days I've got to get under my car to fit a new fuel tank, i can remove my fittings and try it along side some taps at work, or take it over the road where they make custom pipes whilst you wait lol But is maybe after the weekend
  16. Right pipe thread is just awkward that what it is. Heres a link to some brake pipe fittings http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/copper-brake-pipe-fittings/automec-male-fitting-for-brake-pipe Few to choose from 3/8 unf 7/16 unf M10x1 M10x1.25 M12x1 Now looking at the old page with pics its too big to be the m10's but i dont know what sizes 3/8 or 7/16 both should really be around 12mm as 1/2" is 12.7mm but UNF sizes might not mean the size of the thread lol
  17. Ahh yeah toyota sprint series, no conversions that that chassis was never fitted with Lovely lol If you do snetty again this year ill pop down n watch at a very least
  18. It will be a pipe thread i imagine so doubt it will be metric. And if it is it will be fine so m12x1.5 or 1.25.
  19. Negative can be done like that yes. But i had an issue with mine starting so ran an earth from an engine earth down my drivers side earthing it out in my drivers foot well and suspension tower then onto the battery. Just gives it a dedicated supply. And positive yeah i used a eye crimp on the old connection and put a small bolt through it then taped it up and taped it into the loom. If you want to make a good job of it, you can get terminal boxes. Skylines use them for jump starting etc as the batteries in the boot of them. They look like a small fuse box, open it up and theres the two terminals ready to put some leads on if need be. It also makes the connections safer if done this way
  20. Welcome along, enjoy your stay! What starlet have you got Where abouts you from?
  21. Yea no worries man, its not going any where, ill grab it out the loft when i can, if i cant find the grommet thing ill take it to work and knock something up that will work just as well. Will grab some better pics aswel then
  22. Haha this just gets better and better, does sprinting cost much to do?
  23. Haha u guys. I had no choice, no room for the 2nd run in the crank pulley on my car so was just a case of, "shall we loop it" matt "yeah" "How" Matt, crunch (cuts pipe) "like this" "Meh that'll do" Haha ghetto tuning
  24. With out cutting at least one pipe its not gunna happen. One pipe is pressurised, thats the one that will need cutting the other one just used normal clips so the pipe can just be pulled off of that one and looped over no damage done. You can leave the resivoir in there i you want to leave fluid in the system, instead of going from the bottle to the pump you connect it to the pressurised pipe (would need cutting) and connect it on higher up, you then have an expansion bottle and room for the fluid to move around freely Just to confuse things a bit more
