Just googled them, they are Adikt excel's never heard of them but the writing on them is the branding for sure -
Thats good man, looks like the kind of shot you would see on a bill board or in a paper or magazine as a manufactures advert.
-
Leon or ibiza cupra im guessing
-
Lol my bad i was reading a different thread then moved onto this one. You can get silvertech bulbs they look silver but flash amber. Look on ebay for them, they aint the cheapest but they look loads beter than amber behind clear lenses
-
Ok dude if you could get that one gauge to reset with a pic aswel that would also sway me more ;)
-
If theyve got a sender i might be interested dude, is there any reason one if the gauges is sitting up at 70deg?
-
They got the senders with them?
-
No the ones you have should be fine, as they will flash orange it they are silvertech or similar ones and if theyre not the amber will disguise it for a while till you sort new ones
-
lol it is, its much heavier trust me you wont be able to turn wit one hand at slow speeds any more! mines been looped 4 years now im just too lazy to do a proper conversion on it. but if my rack packs up ill be doing that conversion to the new one that i get! the reason i linked it is because some people dont like the idea of just looping the pipes over

this isnt the guide I've seen before but its very similar. the one i had seen was on a AE86 but it was the same idea. />http://www.flyinmiata.com/tech/depower.php?x=13

not sure and you cant be sure if you got all the fluid out either. i have seen a guide on a forum where this guy strips the rack down blocks the ports up and fills it with hi temp grease instead. then theres a nut that can be adjusted to make it heavier or lighter. i shall see if i can dig it up!
-
Stab in the dark, the clamp onto the backbox come loose, hit a few bumps an its moved Try twisting it by hand if ya can then it prob just needs doing back up! Failing that need a new rubber somewhere
-
Good! people with fog lights on do my blooming nut in! Im forever flashing my fogs at people with theres on for no reason, im yet to get a single one of them to turn them off though
-
I know how you feel mate, my drive is just mud so any work i do i have to do round a mates or take to a garage. But i do have a local self serive garage but the bloke who runs it is a bit of a norbertface which puts me off going there :/
-
Ask to borrow there ramp and do it yourself mate offer them like £20 for an hours hire whilst theyre fitting the tyres
-
Might be a c.v joint then mate. Not sure if this is correct or not but i think its the outside wheel that clicks. so if turning right full lock it would be the left one clicking and if turning left it would be the right one clicking. Maybe get a friend in a carpark and drive round in circles slowly and get them to listen?
-
Yea its worth doing i think they're only £15-18 and 4 bolts so not bad to change either. Let us know how it is once its done bud!
-
What are your cv joints like? Does it click/knock when turning tight under a bit of throttle either way?
-
I recon so, mine didnt seem to bad but i replaced them and it had made loads of difference, even more so once the alignment was done!
-
Maybe a ball joint gone?
-
Blowing manifold maybe?
-
Not really a look alike its only got the stickers and b/box needs wheels and spoiler etc. also its completely the wrong colour and doesnt even have leccg windows haha But it would make a reasonable project i supose

I heard hand helds allow for the 10% + an agreed extra few mph depending on the area because of the error that can be caused from movement. Fixed cameras only allow 10% Chances are though your speedo was slighly out so you were under the 10% unless your cars speedo is dodgey and is out the wrong way. A friends A3 was 10% out the wrong way so 70 was actually 77! Lol My corollas 10% throughout my speed range n my starlets about 7%. But the only way you will know is to wait and see unfortunately
