  1. Just get a new hub and bearing, hub shouldnt be too much off of here and a bearings what £25-30 if the new hub even needs a new one! brakes, ball joint etc are all removable and reusable on the new hub, better be safe than sorry IMO I say new hub i mean 2nd hand off a breaker ;)
  2. All im saying is N/A all the way, but vtec is for girls
  3. Put a B series in an ep! Best of both worlds. Or pay me and ill make another 4Age ep
  4. Im not 100% if this will work but... Bit of a long winded way to go about it but remove 5th gear and all the gubbings then unbolt the bell housing like you normally would then all the box with shafts and gears will come out (or should i say the main casing will come away from the bell housing with the gears attached to that instead) Not particularly useful but atleast the diff will also be exposed. Then maybe you can get the diff out that way? Maybe someone can clarify if this will actually work aswel? Lol Although thinking about it surely if you just take the box apart the normal way it would be easier and just leave the diff sitting either on the normal half or stuck on the bell housing side depending on which shaft is stuck in :/
  5. It wont help much even with both working dude, the stock speaker setup is terrible haha But yeah plastic trim under the steering wheel cant miss it tbf buh
  6. Welcome dude and a good choise you both made Not an awful lot to look out for really, generally good solid little motors so its just the standard check list really. Arches and sills for rust Any signs of damage or repair work The gearbox syncro's wear out so fast changes into 2nd are usually a common issue Service history Ellectrics all working Oil leaks around engine The interiors are quite hard wearing so if its low milage id expect it to not be worn much at all The steering is the only really funny point. They tend to have quite floaty steering as standard so if you can test drive a couple and see if you can feel one that feels better or worse than the others. Price wise for a base spec around £600 - £800 Middle spec £700 - £1000 Higher spec'd Gls - Sr £800 - £1200 condition and milage dependant obviously some will be higher than this Keep an eye out for people on here selling, that way youve most likely got a build log of the cars recent history aswel
  7. Ahh my bad i shall put myself in a corner for 10mins lol thats not all bad then rwd toyota's fiiiinneeee get yaself an old KP ;) Altho your'll only kick yourself for not finishing off the ep!!
  8. Yeah i know what you mean dude, must be frustrating. And when you say darkside.... Honda or Vw? Lol
  9. I think you'll find half the mod's have androids tbh mate, its just tapatalk works better on the ifail's i think. and the ifails also dont work that well on the mobile site as it has a blank over half the new content page if you use the back button rather than using the new content button again
  10. Nice scaffolding
  11. Nice clean example dude. Should have posted up before i thought this, as everything else is 98spec. But its a fairly easy change i suppose.
  12. Mine felt asif the tyres were rolling off the rim. No visual play anywhere but changing the ball joints worked wonders. At the end of the day if you can do the work yourself a front end refurb isnt the most costly thing in the world
  13. more support, on honda's it sits in the center on the flywheel/crankshaft and comes as part of a clutch kit. i guess it supports the shaft when the clutch is released minamising shaft movement and prolonging the life of the first bearing in the gearbox. that is just a guess so might be wrong lol
  14. Always the posibility that the engine was forged befor it was exported. Most cars dont come with any history or receipts and are put back to stock with parts sold to get some money back!
  15. Nope not on any toyota I've seen
  16. Even if you run under quarter a tank? Mine i can hear through my seats, 3 jackets, 2 blankets a sleeping bag and a duvet when i get low on fuel lol
  17. Walbros are noisey, and if youve already got a new one id fit it just for peice of mind dude
  18. Just googled them, they are Adikt excel's never heard of them but the writing on them is the branding for sure
  19. Thats good man, looks like the kind of shot you would see on a bill board or in a paper or magazine as a manufactures advert.
  20. Leon or ibiza cupra im guessing
  21. Lol my bad i was reading a different thread then moved onto this one. You can get silvertech bulbs they look silver but flash amber. Look on ebay for them, they aint the cheapest but they look loads beter than amber behind clear lenses
  22. Ok dude if you could get that one gauge to reset with a pic aswel that would also sway me more ;)
  23. If theyve got a sender i might be interested dude, is there any reason one if the gauges is sitting up at 70deg?
  24. They got the senders with them?
  25. No the ones you have should be fine, as they will flash orange it they are silvertech or similar ones and if theyre not the amber will disguise it for a while till you sort new ones
