Mine was a c52 for 4A but the only difference is the bell housing so it would have been close to it. I think they seem quite light because they're fair compact and easy to lift.

My old box weighted 32kgs with all the brackets etc still attached. I weighed it on a calibrated set of scales at work :/ Has he taken the cups out and drained the oil out? Also now youve got the diamentions most sites have a quote by size and weight form you can fill out to get quotes anyway

Right one off turbo into larger outside feed on ebc. Center one to waste gate Smaller outside feed to inlet manifold That should be it
-
Well either off of the turbo or the int piping. I would say replace that red int piping with the black hose going to it (pictured ^^) with your inlet manifold and go with that Also yours will differ depending if your wastegate is single or dual lined?
-
Have you not got any other nipples on the int piping that you could feed it into?
-
That 2nd pic is different as the wastegate has 2 ports on it :s
-
From what i can gather by looking at them pics Center line to wastegate Smallest of the 3 to your inlet manifold Other side the larger outside one to somewhere on your intercooler piping (after turbo before the throttle body) The 4th port on the other side would be left open to atmosphere

Im suprised that the fte uses the same as the n/a's you would have thought that they would be a different because its for turbo aplication. But i guess its not exacty a hi performance engine in stock form :/
-
correct me if im wrong but isn't there an intercooler tucked away in there? looks far to close to the front to be a radiator :s

Yea nice one mate be good if we did

Bit of harmless whoring

Yea depending on the diff depends in what you see. Stock open diff is a pin Stock lsd is a very wide plate with very small gaps either side Then others are solid plates covering the hole, Plates with various size holes in them etc I guess this is so we can have a reference so we can see what it is we are either buying or selling when getting a gear box or diff?

Havnt wepr ones got a life time garentee on them?

You would need to borrow a timing light. I would try you friends ignition leads mate they are a common problem. If not them try the coil of of it aswel

Not good dude but deffo swap it all over. Maybe go for a sleeper ;) I cant imagine you would need it remapping unless you changed anything for something completely different

I've had one set of speedlines sandblasted and sprayed in a booth with a gun and compressor and a semi pro sprayer and one set done by sand paper and rattle cans by myself. Upto the point of lacquering the finish was very similar. After lacquering as i did not have a heated room the lacquer seemed to shrink and gave me china effect wheels. The difference in price £25-30 for 5 wheels vs £130 for 5 sand blasted and 4 sprayed Also my hand sprayed wheels held up better to having tyres changed and stone chips.

TDO4 kit.. which one this time? purchasing soon..
morgey replied to iamlegend's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Surely the cps and wepr kits are both bolt on, everything seems to be provided with the cps kit bar management, intercooler piping and the turbo needing rotating (or do wepr do this for you?) I think with the added postage and import tax etc the price difference wont be far off anyway. by the way i haven't actually looked into this im just going on assumptions ;) -
My brothers ef civic has loads. One in his boot was a case of putting a hole in the buttom of the boot seal so the water could escape to the outside rather than the inside Another was his windscreen wasnt actually attached because the glue/seal had dried up Now hes got one in the front and it keeps flooding out his fuel pump relay so he has wrapped it up in a couple of pairs of rubber gloves as he cant find the leak haha
-
Haha i think im yet to hear of a civic without a water leak somewhere!
