  1. Get a video of it with a time/date stamp on screen pretty sure you coulf get an app that does it. Do a cold startup Hot start up Sustained running with fan kicking in and out Comp test of all 4 cylinders Pics of each plug Other than being there in person you cant do much more.

  10. I had use of a ramp and a compressor, used an air fed sprayer and slightly thinned down waxoyl with it. Had all my suspension, exhaust front wings and bumpers off so i could clean and seal as much as possible Also replaced my fuel tank so when i had the replacement one i took that back to metal and red oxide painted that then gave it a coat of hammerite then waxoyl stone chip protector on top of that.

  12. Not really an after car as i had all 3 but E11 corolla and an ae111 trueno. Binned the trueno so swapped the engine and box into the corolla. Still have the starlet and corolla
  13. He said he replaced the injectors though. That should have renoved or moved the issue i would have though?
  14. Check/replace Dizzy cap and rotor arm, Ignitor, coil and Earths I think the injectors are in 2 banks but could i be wrong on that.
  15. Welcome, nice little project. Most parts should swap over, skirts wont be long enough as they are for 3 doors. Not sure whats goig on with thr IMG links nornally they work
  16. Uk cars get undersealed from factory. Imports dont. Toyota uk are pretty good at protecting their cars, you bring an import over and dont treat it it will rust if not protected. Repairs are obviously going to increase the chances of rust and rot coming back as you have had metal exposed to the elements.
  17. Jap cars tend not to get undersealed unless done by the importer. Well worth your time whipping of any trim/skirts/rear bumper that you can and scrubbing the underside before a good coat of waxoil. Id even consider dropping the fuel tank and exhaust of you dont mind getting really stuck in.
  18. Ep3 typeR over a the vti imo, Much better to deal with day to day and slightly better low down. The other option along them lines is a corolla Tsport, bit better ride and cheaper insurance but theres quite a few little niggly things that break but nothing major. As for a glanza/Gt for a daily its doable but you wont get the creatures comforts or ride quality but you will have boost and easier potential when it comes to modding. However finding a good one that wont blow up on the way home could be a challenge lol
  19. If you have an engine light you can find out what its for by getting a a bit of wire and bridging port te1 and e1 and turning the igntion on. The engine light will then flash a sequence The port is in the engine bay by the fuse box. If its a constant flash then its not much use as that means its fine but if its out of time you have to wait for the long pause and count them Will be like flash flash . flash ....... That would be 21. Then just google toyota ecu error codes
  20. Bridge the diagnostics b Port te1 and e1 and it should flash a code up.

  22. Got my front spacers fitted. Had to chop the studs down so they didn't protrude out the front of them. Think these were 15mm rears are 20 or 25mm Before After Still got the rears to do but that will be done shortly. Also got my pump wired in but battery was to flat to test it, managed to get all the wiring tucked out the way so unless you have a good look it won't jump out at you. Going to make an alloy bracket for my alphahorns soon to and may look at swapping out my brake bias valve for my turbo one that I've had for like 2 years 😂

  24. Will be the tyres. Mine aquaplaned like mad with 5mm+ left on t1r's was like driving on ice
