  1. Non interence mate, align to TDC stick the belt on and turn it over a few times by hand make sure theres no untoward resistance or noises and then fire her up.
  2. Waterlines on the tb hooked up to the vacuum line ports is another common one.
  3. Cheers, will be better with lip, spacers and fresh wheels which should be coming soon
  4. Tbh i have actually always wondered that myself. Its half the reason i never rebuilt my old engine.
  5. Yeah but theres 3 std sizes for the inner crank face and upto 5 for the caps if i understand correctly So STD doesnt really clear it up. You can have a factory car with size 0,0,2,1,2. For each journal For instance My 4age had the stamps on the block and they were like 1.3.2.2.3 meaning that there were a variety of sized bearings used from factory. Its better to double check and get it right than have to do it all again with extra work with a damaged crank etc
  6. Welcome along, nice little motor, very stealth
  7. Dont toyota stamp the bearing sizes for. The crank on the crank and sump face of the block?
  8. Has your loom been cut at any point to possibly fit an FCD or rev limiter? What thats saying is theres either a faulty ignitor or a break in the wire between the igniter and ecu on thr IGF or IGT wire The ignitor is the flat silver box near the coil, has about 5 wires going to it. Either swap it out for another or You could find the igf and igt wires and run your own wires in down to the ecu and see if that fixes it.
  9. Use photobucket and post the IMG link for non members.
  10. Good updates. The front springs are lolz 😂😂 As for power it could be a coilpack issue, get on the corolla club uk facebook page and ask on there. You'll get a load of BS but someone will probably have a definitive answer
  11. I needed a replacement one. Mine rusted and split along the rear seam, was leaking fuel all over the place. Strange thing is my car is pretty rust free otherwise. Stick an add in the wanted section and have a look through the breakers area on here 👍
  12. Got a set of stickers being made up for the new bonnet and for the quarter panel so that should be back to Sr mode soon
  13. Id say go for it mate. I faffed about left right and center getting my 4age in my car, there was next to no info on any of it. Was just a learn by doing project. Only advise i will give is over estimate the price on everything and dont set deadline as it will be a lot of work and a lot of waiting for custom parts. Few options with hubs. Either leave stock and have shafts made to fit or machine them out to fit bigger bearings and a larger stub axle. I did the latter on my 4age conversion. But in hindsight id probably have opted for a pair of custom shafts fitted to stock starlet hubs.
  14. Here you go. Its k24'd now. http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/91087-project-rattlesnake-kp82-build/#entry1088986
  15. Theres a lass from oz thats on here somewhere who has a k20 swapped 82. She had cad diagrams of the mounts used. Would be worth having a word with her see if you could get them replicated.
  16. Well it was dark when i got the car and then went on holiday the next day so no chances of photos untill i went around my mates where i left it. Unfortunately it was raining when i went round there so the pics aren't the best either but heyho Front bumper has been smoothed as well as painted. Have my cupra lip to fit back to it too which should finish the front off nicely Quarter panel was pulled straight and has a very small amount of filler near the front of the arch and a tad near the light but very very minimal. He also smoothed some dents over the drivers door and painted the whole
  17. Stunning attention to detail on this build, fair play will be a stunner when all together and finished 👍
  18. Some people like weighted gearknobs so would depend really. But if you're trying to save weight then not really
  19. Driveshaft shop in the U.S would do it. Or if you google custom driveshafts uk a site pops up that makes them from £190 for a blank shaft (no c.v's)
  20. Power feed to the fuel pump or fuel relay. Aint going anywhere then.
  21. Copy the link from photobucket
  22. It will bolt in but the wiring is different
