Safe to run td04 with a plug and play ecu
RobSR replied to matthew ep91's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
They can't really be changed. They would of been mapped for someones setup in Japan whether thats a ct9/ct9 hybrid/k24/k26/td05 .. no one knows..its a bit of a risk. 95% of them were mapped for a original FPR so fitting adjustable one to trim fuelling doesn't always work. For the cost, buy an Emanage Ultimate and get a tailored map to your spec. -
How many miles are these engines good for?
RobSR replied to mart1's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
My SR hit 230,000 miles - still running fine when i sold it. -
Cheers pal, lets hope it goes to a good home!

Left school - hated it. Setup my own photography business and shot contracts for all the major UK papers. Industry is dying so parked that and now work in Sales for Audi.

Year: 1996 Model: Glanza V Tax: N/A MOT: April Mileage: Clocks show just under 140k - Combo of Miles and Km's Description: Putting my Glanza up for sale... Its a 96' model in Silver, with all the optional lips and 98 spec rear lights. The paintwork is very clean for the age which was the reason i brought it. There is however a couple of marks so i will be honest.. the front of the bonnet has had a bad touch up from a previous owner, and there is a small ding in the wing. Dent devils or a company like that could get it out no problem for about 30 quid. The wing mirror caps are pa

Mate thats an N/A engine. Charlie is asking about an FTE. The spare port is for a temp sensor GT's used. Glanzas don't have it so block it off.
-
Yea 3S weights a ton. What have you got the weights for an fte and 2zz at then? http://web.archive.org/web/20071015163901/http://rmf.fi/m_p_ja_m.htm
-
Pretty sure an FTE comes in at about 80 without the box, 2zz is about 115kg irrc and the box is defo going to weigh more on that too. Be interesting too see how it handles either way.
-
Lol epic idea haha
-
I think its great doing something different and great engineering. What are you planning on using it for? Surely its only going to work as a dragger? Id be concerned it'll handle like a sack with all the added weight over the front end? Done anything to counter that?
