looks good bud!

would agree with some of the comments above about the n/a's ..not really worth it.. my own opinion.. go with a rev3/4/5 specially if you wanna tune it... 3/4/5's have thicker cylinder walls, better head gasket and inlet manifold, MAP not MAF, standard management is a lot better also, think the heads may be a tad different too but im not 100% sure.. speak to luke @ pacific works..hes one of the main guys in mr's and knows them out the back of his hand.
-
yea quite a few people use em..if set up right you can get rid of fuel cut with them too
-
hmm strange..what gate you got? ive setup my mates with a tial ewg exactly like that and it works fine :S
-
ahh kk, you hold the mode button down on the channel you want it on to adjust gain.. sorted yet matey?
-
not atal on a turbo equipped car (to a certain extent) as fuel is used to keep the combustion chambers cool, which is why turbos run alot richer than non turbos, due to the increased heat Like said tho, if its too rich youll get bore wash, and petrol sitting in the sump, which starts eating away at the bearings - not good! anywhere from low 10's to 12.0:1 on WOT for a turbo motor is fine..optimum is around 11.8 N/a is about 13.0:1 on WOT
-
No worries mate...if its creeping check the gain ..gotta hold down the set button I think it is untill it acesses it, depending on what model you have...make sure its set on external gate, not actuator too
-
haha yea hes a good lad! Liam i replied to ya blitz sbc thread by the way
-
does sound funny lol.. however, if you had a standard lump and a forged lump side by side from a cold start...you can tell the difference in sound..forged engines are out of tolerance when cold, so they naturally have a bit of slap on cold start till the pistons heat up and expand slightly..where as a standard one doesnt/shouldnt!
-
you EWG now yea? Pretty sure the official blitz method is.. Turbo Comp. Housing Vac --> Side Port on EWG... "IN" Port on Solenoid from an Boost source before the TB butterfly..(so IC Pipe etc) and "OUT" to the top port on EWG You probs havent got a take off in ya ic..so you should be able to T-piece into the comp housing to side ewg port, and put that to IN on the solenoid Start with the set low, and keep building it up..(thats your boost level, its a ratio...0-100) Then same with the gain..to get it to come in early without spiking etc..

idrees is a sound geezer mate...wont have no probs
