  1. As above, are they always required are do some turbo setups eg. TD04/5 not actually require them? Just wondering, as if I fit an FMIC kit I'll also need an aftermarket BOV if they are essential..
  2. I'm tempted, but I have zero track experience yet so probably won't bother.... Are you all buying tickets for the same sessions? Maybe a mod could get a list together once people start booking so we know who is doing what session etc.. Also if anyone is willing, I'd buy a passenger ticket - could be an option for anyone willing to offer their passenger seat?
  3. Yeah I'll give it a shot tomorrow, can't hurt to try

  5. Jesus Christ! Looks like a right nasty crash, although looking at the type of road and the rocks at the side, explains it a bit..
  6. Alright, I tried all the combinations of bulbs and positions, then swapped the actual bulb holders round, and it turns out that's where the fault is.. Untitled by Smithyithy, on Flickr See the kinda marks where it looks like it's burnt out? So I need a new one of these.
  7. Changed my front sidelights and rear number plate lights for some SMD / LED's, all worked fine but the one number plate light won't work at all now, I've swapped the SMD's all around and it's still only the 1 light that's not coming on.. Do the 2 lights have separate fuses or something? Any ideas?
  8. Depends on wheel size, offset, tyre size, suspension height etc... Any more info?
  9. 30ml would do a full Starlet easily, if not twice. I've a 200ml jar of Purple Haze, done 7-8 full coats of various hatchbacks and have probably used 20% of it max. You can really use any of their waxes, they all work, but if you want a colour charged one, I'd suggest maybe Blue Velvet for 8K9. It's also a hard wax, which means you can apply it with your fingers! Make sure the car is properly cleaned, clayed and polished. Then apply with the fingers, sounds strange but it's a great way to do it and really gets a proper application. Do a panel at a time, work it in well then let it cure, I th
  10. Literally anything. He could buy a tonne of stuff from the Japanese equivalent of Halfords, bring it back and sell it for a fortune cause it's JDM Not just car stuff though, if he can get his hands on any mange, anime, collectibles etc, they all fetch a premium over here. Or even some used panties from one of those vending machines?
  11. Are those sticker sales genuinely donating to his charity? Just want confirmation cause the amount of people trying to cash in on his death on eBay is pretty bad :/
  12. eBay, can't remember the seller but they were about £12 for the pair Yeah they are a really crisp white, exactly what I was after. I wouldn't say they're 'brighter' than stock bulbs, but then they are only the same power, but the whiter light does make the view somewhat clearer, and of course they look much nicer on the car.
  13. Only minor updates so far. Managed to detail it a few weeks ago, washed, de-tar, de-iron and a quick all-in-one on the paint, as I haven't had time yet to clay and machine polish it. Some pics: Foamed: Cleaning by Smithyithy, on Flickr Tar removal: Cleaning by Smithyithy, on Flickr Iron removal (lots!), that's not rust in the second pic, it's a bit off a plant cause it was proper windy: Cleaning by Smithyithy, on Flickr Cleaning by Smithyithy, on Flickr Some finished (for now) pics: Cleaning by Smithyithy, on Flickr Cleaning by Smithyithy, on Flickr Did
  14. At least half of them look like trannies.
  15. Be interesting to see what powerplant they opt for, I think BMW would be cautious about giving them their own engines, as it'd end up being a competitor to the M4..
  16. Rumours have been flying around for a while that Toyota are planning on releasing a further 2 RWD sports cars, one to sit above the GT86 (presumably the Supra reincarnation) and one to sit below it - suggestions for that one on a post card..
  17. 54bhp. Ruined a double-decker bus last week
  18. Just to address this firstly.. Road Tax doesn't exist, it's Vehicle Excise Duty we pay, which is base don emissions, and the money goes into the general pot, it doesn't pay for roads. OP, bad luck. Typically it's a council road, but due to the nature of the defect (it's more of a depression than pot hole) it seems quite clear what happened, the depression caused your wheel to be pulled towards the curb while taking the corner, damaging your wheel. I'd say certainly get down to the council, print off all the photos of the defect, the curb, your wheel etc on A4 sheets, type out a des
  19. Are these limited supply or should there be enough to go around? My wee sister said she'll get me one for Xmas
  20. I'm gonna build a rig very similar to yours Socks and crack on with mining. I've read that GPU mining isn't really worthwhile any more, but I had an old PC with a decent-ish GPU, reckon I could use it or any of the PC alongside a new rig? It's only spare hardware that otherwise I won't ever use..
